I recommend AES unreservedly. They fixed our two broken machines within one hour. Their price was exactly what they told me that it would be.
We had trouble with two machines that we bought on the internet. The store that sold them gave us a one-year warranty. One failed to work at all. When we called the store, they took a week to respond. Then, they directed us to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer's call center was worse than useless. The person argued with me and mocked me when he learned that I was disabled. The only productive that he did was given me a list of authorized repair companies. That was how I found AES. It was the best thing that happened to us. The owner answered my call, was friendly, and gave me clear prices (which later proved accurate), and an appointment within a week. The technician (Carlos) was amazing. He was friendly and polite. Most importantly, he knew what he was doing. He took the elliptical machine apart, and found the problems within a few minutes. Carlos worked for about a half an hour and fixed the machine completely. He then had me test it. He adjusted parts until everything was perfect After that, I asked him if he would look at the other machine as well. Carlos fixed that one, too. He did such a great job, that I mentioned that we were planning to buy a machine for my wife's parents' house. I asked if AES also sells machines, in addition to repairing them. He said yes, and mentioned that the store often had more machines than they listed on their website. We called them right away. The owner gave us a price that was at least one thousand dollars cheaper than the two stores that we had been considering. So we bought a machine that morning from AES. I don't regret it for a second.
I had a wonderful experience with AES. They fixed our broken machines. Their price for the repairs was exactly what the owner told me that it would be. And they gave us a great price for a...
Read moreRarely write reviews, but when a company not only exceeds expectations, but far exceeds them, I think it is appropriate to let them, and other consumers, know about it. We were in the market for a gym quality treadmill for our 17 year old daughter who has some health issues. We found A.E.S. Fitness online and contacted the owner, Adam Schwalb. It became immediately apparent that Adam was exceptionally knowledgeable with Life Fitness treadmills. We discussed what we were looking for and in a matter of days he contacted us to advise that he had the exact machine in stock. He also advised that he would be installing a new deck and belt and servicing the machine so that it was like new. Once refurbished, he allowed our daughter to come to his business to run on the treadmill - great customer service! Then, after we purchased the machine, Adam promptly scheduled delivery and arrived exactly when he said he would and with two exceptional techs, Larry and Jack, who installed the treadmill in our home. From the initial phone call through delivery, Adam was exceptional. He was fair, professional, incredibly responsive and exceedingly competent. A.E.S. is a tremendous company and it is very clear why they have received so many five star reviews. Quite frankly, wish more companies were so attentive. Without hesitation we will purchase equipment in the future from Adam and we will absolutely recommend A.E.S. Fitness to friends and family. Keep up the great work and thank you Adam, Larry and Jack.

Read moreI contacted Adam to ask whether he could get parts for a used treadmill I was gifted. He told me he that could get parts for that particular model.
I scheduled a maintenance call. The person who came was professional and pleasant. He seemed to know what he was doing. He said he would look up the price of a new belt and get back to me with an estimate to do the work.
After waiting for over a week, I called. Adam told me he could not get parts for the machine. He said he didn’t remember our conversation, but insisted he always tells people he may not be able to get parts or fix the problem. (he did not). He instead pushed to sell me a new treadmill.
I calmly asked for a refund for the service call (and would have been happy with a partial refund) and he became loud, yelling at me that he never said what I remember him saying. When I told him that I never would have paid over $230 for a maintenance call had he not verbally confirmed that he had parts, he talked over me and continued his tirade.
I thought it might be helpful to people considering his services to know that his temperament was nasty, unprofessional and not a good reflection of...
