This restaurant is punching well above its weight. People, don't overthink this
we got the lamb platter, and a lamb/chicken pizza. generous portion. very affordable pricing. good flavor. best part? the lamb platter is basically a version of nyc halal cart platter. but maybe even better in some ways? pickled cabbage, chick peas, hummus, idk what else. it's a good f-ing platter. Flavor still pretty good
The pizza? ok not the trattoria style we're used in this area. but also good! $17 for 16", with meat, veggies, and generous but not obscene amount of cheese. c'mon
on top of all that, they included 2 complimentary sauce cups. one was some sort of black pepper ranch (but not ranch), and the other a fruitier, chutney-ish sort of sauce. they have an interesting flavor
overall, good pricing, and for the pricing, good quality, good flavor, and good portion. more and more, this sort of offering is harder to find in today's economy.
food was ready on time. owner was nice. addressed discrepancies with grubhub, made substitutions easy for us and pricing did not change

The place is not clean.
Tables were very dirty and the AC weak against the hard summer. We had to clean the table ourselves. The soda straws were all already unwrapped open and contained inside one small box container. Customers have to have touched all the unwrapped open straws with their dirty hands which eventually will touch your lip. A very easy was to spread Covid for sure, and other diseases!
Sauces are on the very cheap side. I had to ask for xtra hot sauce and she had to "interrogate" me before giving me a table spoon sample portion.
The lady at front desk was slow as a sloth and spoke in a manner hard to understand. She looked at another direction while talking to me, so it was difficult to understand if shes talking to me or to someone else. She was NOT engaging to the customers and only did the basics. No Hi, no hello to customers. Very strange and unwelcoming.
Food was bland. Chicken portions were cut so small as if they were ground chicken.
No, I do not recommend this place. Better pita and hummus can be found elsewhere with superior...
