I had a very difficult time rating this store..the prepared food was excellent.. the carnitas were excellent and the correct cut of pork was used and not overly salted.the chicharrones were delicious..the rice fresh and not dried out. but.... We had problems with an employee .. At the register the debit credit card machine didn't work properly..After both my wife and I tried a half dozen times the employee at the register said let me do it..I responded I think we know how to swipe a card and we have used this card many times today ...it's your machine that's broken..Can we go to the front register to pay..She reluctantly agreed and my wife went and paid....I stayed and got napkins and cilantro for our food...we then sat down to eat.. I decided to get horchata and went to register to pay with cash.. The same employee asked what about paying for the food we already got..I replied my wife already paid..the employee then said " NO SHE DIDN'T " I WANT TO EXPLAIN MY WIFE IS IN HER 60's and I am 72 years old.. We sat at a table right in front of the register to eat So how do I rate a store that provided wonderfull food,it is clean and well stocked and every other employee has been helpful and pleasant..except for this one employee I would have given 5 stars So five stars to the store and 99.99% of the other employees and the next time I go there I will speak to the manager.. I believe as a businessman myself that management wants to know if there is a problem .. Anyone who let's one employee ruin a wonderful shopping and eating experience without telling the manager can't blame the whole store. I will go back this is very nice store ...if I see the employee who accused us of stealing food I will speak...

It's quite simple Management. Train your employees to be aware of the fact that customer service is above all. It does make you not want to go in there any more. Also, take the time to actually read the reviews. I've seen the same generac "thank you for the great review" to negative reviews. I love the store itself. It's clean and sanitary. Not too expensive either. Although........ I am white and I do not speak Spanish. Whenever I have asked an employee where a certain item was, the language barrier was quite evident. However, it did not bother me one bit. The employees though, became irritated and made it clear that I was a bother to them. This has happened on 3 to 4 separate occasions. I know it's not my imagination because my wife brought it up to me one day and I had never said anything to her about it. And we still don't take it too seriously and just laugh it off. But really now, c'mon. We love Mexican food, heritage, and people. I'm sorry I have trouble asking where the canned diced tomatoes are, but let's...

Cardenas is a great place to visit to buy your necessities for the house thera are allt of things, like most of the things that you need your house, you can find easily in these store because cardenas is a big store that there millions of things that cardenas sells, like fruits, alcohol, ice crram, meat, bread, chicken, and amomg other things. I really recommend this place to go there to buy yoir necessities because you dont need to go other store to find your things that you are looking for, becuase you can only go to this store to find the things that you are looking for. Its a great place to buy what yoi are looking for. You should go visit soon this store if you have not gone yet. Also there are many offers on things that the store put to sale off, like you really going to love to buy in this store because you will soon to find that you are saving more momey that ever before buying products in these store.
