Ryan and his team deserve nothing short of 5 stars all around. From the selection of products, to pricing to service, they are exceptional. But what made my shopping experience even more special pertains to something no retailer is willing to go these days - going the extra mile to ensure that a customer's requests are attentively heard and executed. I had put in a special request to have my package shipped out using a carrier other than USPS. The Postal service loses our packages far too often and hence the guidance. Ryan responded back promptly and said he'll do his best to make alternate arrangements. Little did I know that it would involve him driving over 40 miles to find the nearest Fedex store ! Needless to say, this is what going the extra mile for the customer is all about. He definitely went above and beyond. For this I am not only grateful but Ryan has earned me as a customer for life and whenever it is time for me to get that something special on my birthday or get something for that special someone in my life, I know where to shop at. Ever stood in the dressing room at Banana Republic, The Gap or Levi’s, looked at your reflection in those new jeans and thought: “These look like sh#%“??? That’s because the cut, fabric, tailoring and design were lousy. Well, America has gotten a clue in places like Carolina, Brooklyn and L.A. where artisans sew blue jeans from high-end denim and the jeans fit like bespoke. Try Franklin & Mercer in the Brooklynesque district called Lawrenceville for a taste. Three of the top rated restaurants in the city are a can o’ Pabst throw away and well heeled patrons often stumble into F & M after dinner to drop another wad. The owner has taste and experience. This is most definitely the best premium men's shop I have been into. As a matter of necessity, or perceived necessity, we spend thousands of dollars on mass produced merchandise from Levis, Uniqlo, Patagonia, etc. But what if, just what if, we decided to purchase less and be more selective on what we purchased. F & M Co isn't cheap, but not sure that matters, if you are able to spend a little of your discretionary spending on clothes, I would make the case you shop here for some of your basic clothing needs. Rather than purchasing 5 or 6 pairs of pants somewhere else, buy one pair of their jeans. Their specialty is jeans with a great selections on shirts, linen pants and even some athletic wear.
