The food was delicious. I got the pierogis and the fried goat cheese balls. Absolutely incredible to both. I am a bit of a pierogi snob and I found the fried pierogis to be perfectly crisp without drying out the dough. The filling was just the right amount, and so good too! The goat cheese balls were new for me, I've never seen this on any menu before and I was skeptical, but they delivered such a full flavor and texture! They were a tad on the dry side, but that is true of goat cheese in general. I think they would be excellent with a nice creamy dipping sauce on the side. I personally added a bit of the sour cream from my pierogis and it improved the dryness without overtaking the flavor, but perhaps a plain yogurt sauce would be a good compliment as well. Either way, the flavor was explosive and the outside was crisped perfectly without being greasy in any way. Incredible presentation and flavor all around. I will absolutely be back to try more of the menu.

Pretty sure I just had the best burger and fries I’ve ever had in Pittsburgh. Went with the Morningside option.. which included American cheese, fried egg and bacon and Mayo. This burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The egg was perfectly cooked. Crispy but soft bacon which is exactly how I roll. The fries were awesome. Thin and crispy.. I got a side of ranch with mine and they make it homemade. The ranch was amazing. The coke was in a glass bottle which was also a plus. Staff was super friendly. Shout out to the back! The cooks and the dishwasher. Super cool dudes. The hostess was friendly and polite and so was our waitress. We came on a Sunday around 530 and it wasn’t very crowded at all. My friend tried the polish hill burger with a pierogie on top and she had cheese fries. She loved it. The cheese for the fries was delicious also. Highly recommend if you’re in to smash burgers!

I’ll start off by saying if the prices were lower, I’d be giving them five stars. The burgers are honestly very good but for what it is, and the portions, I feel it’s a tad overpriced. We’re paying about the same as one of Chicago’s best burger spots, but I usually leave there full. I never leave burghers full even though I finish my burger and fries. I don’t know what it is, I think the burger is not as filling as it looks? But it’s really good don’t get me wrong lol not a big fan of their beer, haven’t had one that I like that much yet. I’m more of an 11th Hour girl. But yes good experience overall and their smashed burger was way better than I thought it would be! I also love the CYO option because I Iike to add other veggies on top of the mushrooms. Yum!

Just a bit disappointed this experience. I came here shortly after moving to Pittsburgh and loved the chicken sandwich and rosemary fries! Today I had my spouse in town for a visit, as we do long distance. While exploring Lawrenceville, I highly recommended that we have lunch at Burgh’ers Brewing. Upon arrival my spouse posted a reel which was immediately shared by the business’ page and we began to enjoy our drinks before our food came out. I’m always suspicious of servers that don’t write down orders.

We decided to split the chicken sandwich and rosemary fries with a small Mac n cheese. We were one of two tables in the restaurant……… The sandwich showed up with limp, sad fries not fried to order crispy and tossed with rosemary which is how they were the last time I came. She also forgot to put in our Mac n cheese. When I brought up that we had ordered the rosemary fries, instead of bringing rosemary fries she brought us a pathetic little cup of chopped rosemary to pour over our fries. I decided at that point that we didn’t need the macaroni and cheese anymore and at the end of the meal when we received the check she had charged us for an additional side of rosemary fries as if she hadn’t been the one to make the mistake of not writing down the order. Before she took the check I asked her if she could take the rosemary fries off and instead she still charged us the up charge for the upgraded side, again, as if she hadn’t made the mistake. And when I mentioned that we had never received our macaroni and cheese? She argued with me that she didn’t hear me ask for those, accusing me of not being clear with an order she should’ve been writing down in the first place. The food was delicious, the beer was great, the service could be better for a restaurant with 3 customers total in it.

Would like to come back, just embarrassed that I raved about it to my spouse who had to watch me express my dissatisfaction with our experience to an employee only to feel wronged in the end over being charged extra and accused of being unclear with my order of...

I've been to this location a few times both done in and take out, as I live near by. Zelionople location, both food and service, much better. Tonight, I decided to get takeout here. I paid online and picked up in person. I arrived at the time that was suggested. It took 5 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge me, even though it wasn't particularly busy. He told me that it will still be a few minutes, which is fine. I then proceeded to wait almost 25 minutes for my food. Another patron came in after me for a pick up order. Much to my surprise, her order came out immediately after she arrived and she was also acknowledged immediately. A couple minutes after she had left, I finally got my food, however, I did not get my beverage. After trying to stop the bartender to ask for my beverage, I just gave up because he moved on to other people. I look at my food and there are barely any fries (I get a burger comes with a half order but geeze) and a burger haphazardly put together. What a waste of money to get a half put together meal and no drink that you paid for. Trying to call or get in contact is a waste. I called immediately after getting home to no answer. I wish I could get a refund, at the very least for the beverage that I did not even receive. Don't be discouraged from this restaurant because of thisnlocation in particular. The original one in zelie is...

I went here on Saturday. I had a 8:30 reservation but the place had plenty of tables. What it didn't have was enough servers. Here the deal...the burger was very good. That is about where it ends for me. The service was slow and mediocre. The chick as nice but I watched other tables come in after us and leave before us with bigger parties. It was just two of us. Then the fries are less than basic. Its like they bought little pieces of fries and give you a lot to compensate. Just give me good fries for goodness sake! I also tried the mac and cheese which was so salty/garlicky that it was almost inedible. They use those spiral noodles which came across as meant for a kid menu item but no kid would eat that with the flavor. Since I had plenty of time since service was slow, I got to watched the staff eat standing up near the area where they cook the food and didn't witness any hand washing btw. I might give the burger a try again...it was the only thing worth eating and I will try take out instead. I had high hopes....5 for the burger. 1 for...
