You know I use to really LOVE this store. It was so much better than GameStop. Until 2020. I went there to buy a Nintendo switch. It had been years since I'd owned a gaming system so I was a bit out of the loop. Yes, this was my fault. Because Ninja charged me $500 for JUST the switch and two remotes that didn't work, no dock, and a missing kickstand. They said they'd order one no problem when I did complain. Unfortunately after weeks and months of emailing and stopping in I still had not gotten the dock. Finally, during the pandemic I risked going into the store personally again to try to rectify the problem. They say oh here's a dock. I said that doesn't look big enough to be the dock for a switch. They said no but it should be fine... Not only did the dock not work but it was not a Nintendo switch dock but a small off brand dock I've heard worked for the lite switch. So I went home and emailed again. They claimed they had no docks at any of there stores and would contact me as soon as one came in. I emailed 4 more times afterwards where they acknowledged who I was but that they still didn't have the dock. After another month or so I tried again and have never received an email back from them since. Fast forward it's now 2022 I go into Ninja tell this whole story to another store hoping that this Ninja store is going to be more interested in rectifying it. Now, they say well do you still have the receipt are you kidding me?! We've only been able to even play the stupid thing twice. I said can we at least trade it for one that works. Yes but you'll need to pay the difference of $200....Really when ya'll already overcharged me $200 and you didn't even give me the whole set. I've gone above and beyond trying to work with this store. I am disappointed and I've come to the conclusion that this saga is over hence time to leave my review. :( I'd suggest checking prices in store for brand new before believing this store. I know we all struggled through the pandemic but this seems like price gouging at it's best. When times get hard everyone shows there basic nature. Will add photos of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will never do business with this company again. Horrible customer service, the guys they have working down there are very unprofessional including the MANAGER. I had cracked my screen and my phone started to black out. When I took it in to get it fixed I was told it would be ready 2 days later. That was great, no problems with that. Until I woke up 2 days after picking my phone up and it was blacking out AGAIN. Not from anything I did but they claimed my battery was damaged (when they said nothing about damage the first time I brought it in). I dropped my phone off for a SECOND TIME and was told it would be 2 days. I called after 2 days and they had no clue what I was talking about. They hadnāt even looked at my phone. Called back the next day and was told they had to order the parts. The following week still nothing, I called almost everyday with no answers. They said they missed the delivery people with the new parts and would have to wait until the next day. This went on for about a week and a half. I asked to speak to a manager because at that point I just wanted a refund going back and forth was too much. (Not only was I told on countless occasions I would get a call back and never did but it was very hard to get anybody with answers on the phone. It seemed the one person who could answer any questions was always āout for coffeeā). When I finally came into the store (tired of calling) I was told I was āgetting on their nervesā for inquiring about MY property that I had been getting the run around about for almost 2 weeks. Itās ridiculous down there. They should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook me a bit to find this place because it looks like a combo Cricket Wireless and T Mobile store with a hodge podge of other stuff- The storefront has absolutely no signage or branding of its own on the streetside. Very weird. Anyways, went to get an old micro USB charging port fixed after the phone didn't charge any more. Ubreakifix and Yinz quoted me $160, these guys quoted me $50. Awesome! Then Darnell troubleshot my phone and tried to sell me a new charger, which I declined, since the phone jack is loose and would not keep the charger in it in place. Then he realized it is the battery that needs replacing. Mind you, the phone was working on Monday, battery ran out, but would not charge on Tuesday. I had thought the battery was fine, since I bought it last year, and I assumed it would not die so suddenly. These guys identified the bad battery and saved me over $140 worth of repairs. I gave him a tip.
Pay no attention to the review where the customer took a picture of one of the shop owners (heavy white guy). He's a good guy, I witnessed him giving a customer a better deal for the pawn of the customer's VR gear because the customer did not have enough money to pay his rent. Darnell had quoted that same customer $150 lower, but the white guy recognized the actual value of the gear and was able to give the customer a...
