First time here and I loved it. I got take out as I was on my to visit a friend. The place nice, clean, well lit- but not overly so. Seemed like a great little place to go with friends.
I had a little bit of difficulty picking something as they offer many dishes that sounded really good. They also have specials, which I appreciate of any restaurant I would go to often.
I got the Pork belly Pad Mee with chive and it was absolutely delicious. I love pork belly (and duck) and they're more rare to find at many restaurants.
The pork belly was crisped perfectly and it was just right spice wise at 7. I eat a lot of spicy food, and if it were summer I'd order it hotter at an 8 maybe 9 if feeling brave.
I also got a mango boba tea which was... just ok.
A notible mention: I stopped in on a whim and didn't preorder. My food was ready in about 6 minutes. That's rather impressive, as an average wait time would be about 15 minutes. It was a weeknight so not super busy but they did have several...

On my second visit, I brought my girlfriend and a single can of busch light (since I remembered seeing a "bring your own alcohol" sign in the window). After eating some sort of salad dish that had a lot of that white, crunchy, nasty lettuce from the middle part of the head, I had already decided to forgive the place and give it another chance. However, the last straw came when I got the bill - they charged me $1.99 for my ~$0.30 Busch light!! I was livid. It's not like I brought a whole bottle of wine or a case of busch. I argued with the server/manager for a while to see if they would reduce or eliminate the charge for MY OWN beer that I brought from home, but they wouldn't budge on their 'policy.' As I was leaving I smelled the distinct stench of human piss on their sidewalk. It was a fitting ending to my...
Read moreNice Thai restaurant with a lot of the classic dishes and a few interesting items. The area is near Carson street on the South Side and the spot isn’t too too packed typically. I got to try out their pad se ew (Pad Z-U) noodles and the sticky rice with taro as a dessert.
The pad Z-U was quite well done. They include a nice portion of noodles and an adequate amount of both vegetables and protein. They cooked everything to perfection, especially that delicious tofu. I always like the noodles to be saucy, and this place does a pretty good job at that!
The dessert was unique and I’m very glad I got to try it. The taro is quite earthy so it probably isn’t to everyone’s taste but I enjoyed it. Nicely cooked rice, and little beans (I think?) as well as some sweet white syrup. Would recommend trying!
All in all, I really liked this place. Good noodles and nice, unique desserts. Fair prices and...
