We always called it the Newsstand when I was a kid and it was one of my favorite places to buy candy and read comic books. I used to go in during quiet times and as long as I was very careful with the comics the owner let me read them for free. He probably removed it after I left to make sure the customer that paid had a brand new not previously read comic book. lol It feels like walking back in time everytime I walk into that store.......
Read moreBought a colored pen from their art supply section and it was ~$4.50 after tax for one pen. They also have a minimum purchase amount for debit and credit so plan to bring cash or buy a lot. The cashier made it seem like an inconvenience that she didn't know the price of the pen I was buying, and didn't order me a receipt until I asked for it.
