I haven't bought a suite in ages, so wasn't sure what to expect, but my son needed a suit, so we stopped by here. Found what we needed pretty easily, as there was a decent selection of reasonably priced suits. I wasn't looking at anything fancy. It looked good, fit well, and was priced right. Can't ask for much more.

Went at dinner time, so the story not busy at all. I saw only one employee, and had to look for him when I had a few questions, but he was very pleasant and helpful. After reading some of the reviews here, I was cautious about the cost of tailoring, but the store employee pointed me to the pricing on the wall, which was very clear. He even suggested that we didn't have to get it tailored there. I knew that, but nice to hear from an employee.

The "low" prices on the signs only apply to certain suits, so don't get too excited unless you happen to want exactly what they're advertising. But when I went, they were offering $20 off $100 or more, and the cashier offered me that even though I had forgotten about it (saw it on their website). Again, very helpful.

They do push their rewards card, which I normally don't sign up for, but he told me I'd get extra discounts. I neglected to ask how much. found out later it was only $5. I would have skipped it because they take your info and will continue to market to you, including selling your info, I'm sure. I don't hold it against K&G, as tons of retailers do that these days. It's an annoying part of getting low cost goods.

I went in today to pick up some suits for some upcoming interviews, and had a mixed experience. The quality of the product K&G offers appears to be good. The layout of the store could be better. The Men's Separates are under the Women's sign, but I guess it feels good to have a store 80% to us (men) kinda like women have every department store 80% to themselves :) While I was changing, I had the unfortunate interaction with Harry in the dressing room where I had hung up 3 suits I was looking at on the only rack I saw in the area, but was told by Harry that I needed to find another place to put them...like I work there and knew my options. Midn you, this is the first interaction I had with anyone there, since it appears they run the store like an Ikea where you're supposed to help yourself. Then when I asked him if he wanted me to put them in a dressing room, he pointed to one and said, "That is a dressing room" with an attitude I might expect at the K&G over in Lewisville...but not Plano. Thankfully my experience was saved by Cindy, the tailor. She made suggestions based on how the suit should fit, pointed out the ones I had chosen that looked best for my body type, and kept the amount of tailoring required to a minimum.
