Alterations by Elena — Local services in Plantation

I see lots of comments about Elena's customer service skills. Granted, she wasn't bouncing off the walls with enthusiasm when I went in, but she was anything but rude. I went in, said what I needed done, tried my stuff on, she did her measuring thing, then told me how much and when to pickup. I brought in my Maid of Honor dress, and some pajamas that needed to be taken in for the following week. She was able to get them done in like 4 days. She's an older lady and obviously very busy. I wouldnt have time to coddle anyone all day either. My only complaint was that my dress was still a little too big at the top. But that was my fault because she TOLD me to come in and try it on to make sure. I just didnt have time. Thankfully it wasnt too extreme and it served its purpose. I'll definitely be back to have her alter more items for me and to see if she can make some...

Horrible customer service. That lady simply does not know how to run a business. She cut a dress and did some alterations to it she told me a price and when I went to pick it up she added $10 and when I asked her she told me that she made a top with the spare fabric (it was a transparent fabric) And I said well you can keep it because I won’t wear that anyways she said ok ok. And when she was in the back getting the change I clearly heard when she called me “cheap”. I didn’t wanna dea with her then but she is a perfect Thieve! And it was my first time and obviously last time. No professional at all. I had a pleasant enough experience with her as far as customer service but she can be a little curt or gruff. Mainly I didn’t know if my pants were ready or not even though she said she would contact me, I needed them on a Saturday as I was headed out of town the next day. I showed up on Saturday and lo and behold they were done, but it would’ve been nice if she had answered the phone. Or called and told me that they were ready, as she said she’d do.

She does great work, my pants were the perfect length. I would rate 4 stars if she had just followed through...
