Very disappointing. having never been to one of their franchisees before we didn't know what to expect. The first thing that we noticed was overall disinterest of the guy that served us. It felt like we were there wasting his time. The second thing was that he mumbled and we couldn't understand anything he said. Can we have Gorgonzola on that? Its on everything, we think he replied. It was like he was piling stuff on even though we hadn't asked for it. As we moved forward it became increasingly difficult in what should have been a simple pizza construction. Then finally we arrived at the guy who was going to take our money, only to find that he mumbled too. Having sat at a table with the order number, a girl plonked our pizza down and took the number and left, not a thanks, there you go, nothing. I actually thanked her, but to no avail. The pizza was mediocre and greasy, to say the least. We entered the place at about 7.15 pm on a Sunday night. At that time we were the only people in the joint, a couple did sit outside. By the time we left, disgruntled, a few more people were lined up to be served. Thought it strange at the time it was so quiet. Overall this place can be summed up by comparing it to a Subway for pizzas. You order the crust, oh trust me i have no idea if there were different sizes or not. Then you shuffle down and point vaguely at different things you want them to add. You can get beer here too, I only know this due to seeing signs. The only good point was the price was very reasonable, however, in a place like this, you get what you pay for. It was very clean, but of course this is a very new place and we would expect it to be. There was sufficient parking, probably due to practically nobody in there. I think if the staff had been less flat-lined and more helpful then the experience would have been more satisfying. Whoever is the manger for this outlet needs to sort their staff out. I personally would have not employed any of the three we came into contact...
Read morethought this place was going to become my favorite pizzeria but unfortunately not the other day I made my first order at this store the girl who served me was a sweetheart and she gave me my order perfect that's why I decide more often today I ordered two pizzas because I wanted them with the normal crust and they gave me the two wrong ones not to be exaggerated I left one and tried to get him to fix the other I told him what was going on and honestly being a manager he doesn't know how to handle situations like this he tells me that the system is wrong I told him to give me my money back and that with that there would be no problem because I paid in cash then he told me that I have to wait for the person who took my order to confirm if what I'm saying is true then he left me standing like an idiot he didn't try to be nice he always got defensive I asked the guy the same manager told him she wants her money back and didn't look at me again more desperate I had to leave because I have my two daughters waiting for me in the car with someone else I told him to stay with the money because I didn't see any movement of anything, very bad customer service, I really work for many people and I always try to treat them as they deserve, to give them good customer service, to always try to find a solution so that in the future people feel satisfied and want to return, I am the person who knows when a customer is right and when they are not and unfortunately that manager does not know how to handle these situations and believe me I am not doing this because I want you to tell me to come back or give me something for free because that does not interest me, I am only bothered by the waste of time that I wasted in this place when you pay for something you want things to be done right because you are paying for that, it is not...
Read moreUpdate** Me and my husband just went here a few days ago and since their grand opening, their pizzas have shrunk by about 50%. It is now tiny and extremely over priced. I'll never go here again! I'd totally rather make the 40 minute drive to Blaze.
so here was my experience and keep in mind that the place just opened so maybe that explains everything...i walked in and behind the counter, there was, what appeared to be, 7 teenagers. None of them seemed entirely sure of what they were doing. They were all moving incredibly slow and there did not seem to be any adult or manager in sight-- Which would have been fine except what should have been a 10 minute experience was a 20 minute experience because they were soooooo slow. The whole time I was thinking "please don't let my pizza be burned!" Over and over again. I frequent Blaze Pizza (it's is the exact same concept) and over there things seem so rushed and efficient but the pizza at Blaze and Pieology were almost identical so hence the good rating. There are 2 main differences, Blaze is slightly cheaper (I think by $2)...but I live about 15 minutes from Blaze in good traffic (about 40 minutes in rush hour) and they always have a line out the door and it is super difficult to park, none of those things are a problem at Pieology yet and it's right around the corner from me. Convenience and comparable pizza make Pieology a...
