Part 2. .....Don't think that you're going to get the last word and make it seem like you did nothing wrong . When I walked into the office with the EOB, you know the one that showed the codes that you billed my insurance company. Or should I say the codes you DID NOT BILL THE INSURANCE COMPANY. That Is NOT THE CORRECT WAY. PER the insurance company I had every right to be upset based on what you billed them. Two representatives from Florida Blue said you were WRONG. And had you have competent people working there, she could of looked at the EOB I had with me and she would of seen that and SHOULD of explained to me that you NEVER BILLED THE INSURANCE for ALL THE WORK . I would of SAID Thank you for helping me, now I understand, followed with a Merry Christmas. But unfortunately your staff is not smart enough to handle something, that was simple. BTW Office Manager , thanks for calling me to explain it to me on Tuesday December 26th. That alone is bad work ethics. The insurance company had to infirm me you did it wrong and they had to ask you not once but TWICE TO RESUBMIT IT THE PROPER WAY. Even though I owed the money because you lied and are not a provider for Florida Blue, I should of been told that BTW. On Next door there were a lot of negative reviews after mine, so I had to learn the hard way. But you taught me something, I need to ask the questions you do not want to offer. Also to make sure my Dentist sends , All the codes performed, The proper way of billing. Hopefully you learned how to properly bill, train your staff on how to help people and most of all Call your patients back like you promised......
Part 1i I wanted to warn everyone about Smile Design Dental Plantation. Make sure you call your Insurance Company before any procedure to find out patient responsibility. I was in on December 6th they told me I had to have a root canal which was $596. And I needed a crown that was $902. Well since I don't have that kind of money I decided just to get the root canal and I left paying $663. Well there must be a God because today I received my EOB and decided this time to look at it and it states that I owe the dentist $246 and 50 of that is my deductible. I went to the office and she said there's no one there I can speak to I told her she needed to call the manager and she called the office manager and the office manager said that she doesn't think she overcharged me but she'll look into it on Tuesday. Now if I was that office manager I would have gotten that customer's phone number and called myself. We're not talking to $10 mistake we're talking $417 that they took from me. Also while I was on the phone with the insurance company I asked them how much my responsibility would be for a crown and I was told $325 well guess what Smile design Dental of Plantation wants me to pay $902. When I went there I said to myself maybe it's a mistake maybe they're going to apologize and they didn't realize that they charged me for everything and I didn't have the crown. But no they know what they did and that tells me that they're doing it to other people. So please spread the word that they should not use that dentist or please call your...
Read moreIt saddens me to have to leave a bad review but everyone needs to be aware of what theyâre getting into with this location. At first/ your first visit, they are great. The staff is nice and friendly but once you become an established patient, expect the worst. I have been bringing my kids here since 2021, they have never seen the same dentist twice(first red flag). The dental Hygienist, Marbi, was great and always made my kids comfortable and thatâs why we stuck with this location. After all they are the ones that do most of the work. They are constantly canceling and rescheduling the appointments and their excuse is âthe dentist isnât coming that dayâ (2nd red flag). Fast forward to today(after cancelling my appointment last week, 2 days before the appointment), they booked all 3 of my kids for the same time slot. We got there and they had my children in 3 separate rooms, around the corner from each other. My oldest is 12 so I figured he could be alone but my 2yr old and my 6 yr old was a no go. The 2yr old didnât even let them do his x-rays the last time so I knew I had to sit with him and my 6yr old wasnât comfortable to be alone because Marbi no longer works there đŠđ¤Śđ˝ââď¸. After expressing my concern the office managers came to the room I was in and her solution was to reschedule my appointments because âthatâs how theyâve been doing it all dayâ she says. At this point the 12 yr old and 6 yr old were halfway into their cleaning and my 12yr old texted me that the DH cut his gum with the mirror. A total nightmare. My 2yr old was not seen and did not get his cleaning. I informed her that that would be our last visit and this location had gone to crap. Her response, âokayâ. Total disregard for me and my childrenâs experience. Save your money, take your business elsewhere. Itâs not worth the headache and lack of empathy. In my opinion, that office staff needs to be revamped. Starting with the office manager. Sheâs too comfortable in her position. Edit:-wow I canât believe you responded by calling me rude. No accountability. Smh. I was not rude, at all, but I do hope you all move forward with compassion and start to treat people the way you all do at the first...
Read moreLet me first start off by saying this is the ONLY dentist I will go to. To the point that I drove FIVE HOURS to go see them because they're the ONLY office (medical wise) that I've been do and do not have AS BAD of anxiety. Amy at the front desk is a literal angel and always greets everyone with a smile (as does the entire front office staff). If you tell them you're nervous, they will go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Perez is such an amazing dentist. From bedside manners to calming your nerves, he goes above and beyond to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during procedures. The first time I met him, he laughed and joked about my tattoo on my thigh, and made me feel comfortable the entire time.
I haven't gone to a dentist in ten years before coming here and when I went, he told me everything he was going to do - I've been coming here since. Recently I moved five hours north, and I've had trouble finding a dentist I could trust and feel comfortable with. This place is worth the 300+ miles to travel just to see a dentist I know, trust, and will go above and beyond to save teeth before doing anything drastic.
Today I went to get a tooth looked at, they fit me in to do a cleaning, and a replacement filling. I had no pain, did not even feel the needle go in as Dr. Perez administered it, and he worked with me during my anxiety. I don't remember the name of the dental hygenist that worked with him, but she held my hand in the beginning until I was calm enough to let go. They really treat you like family here! IF YOU HAVE ANY RESERVATIONS ABOUT DENTISTS, I URGE YOU TO GO HERE AND ASK FOR HIM!!! HE WILL PUT YOUR FEARS TO REST!
Thank you Dr. Perez, Amy and Staff for taking care of my teeth and putting my fears of dentists to rest,...
