Customer treated disrespectfully at Food Fair I visited the Food Fair PLANTATION store today Dec 8th 2021 Wednesday around 0715 PM. It was our normal weekly grocery shopping visit. We purchased few produces and the price for the cabbage billed was wrong. We asked to correct the price for which the cashier directed us to Store Manager. The manager wasn't available immediately. We are asked to wait for few minutes and we waited. The waiting continued for 15 to 20 minutes. The store manger is not yet seen. Upon multiple requests security personnel announced on mic . She appeared after after 5 minutes of the announcement is made. She asked us to take her to the place where the cabbages are exhibited on the floor. We told as a manager you may be knowing where the cabbage is and can self check as we waited for her already. Later she asked one of the cashiers about the price and acknowledged the price was wrong. Then she asks me to give her the cabbages back for weighing. I told it is already mentioned there in the bill. She refused and finally I handed over the cabbages to her. She yelled in the floor instructing the cashier to return 19 cents. It is not the question of money. It is trust and customer experience which matters. Then we have presented her the broken umbrella which we purchased at the store few weeks back. The quality is very poor and is broken while we tried to open it in order to secure ourselves from the rain. We informed the problem to another manager last week and she us courteous and asked us to bring the umbrella so that she can exchange. We did mention that we lost the receipt still she told us to bring the umbrella. So this time we brought the umbrella and explained the same to this manager. She refused to take a look and asked us to bring it another time when other manager is present. I asked her if it is our duty to check who is the manager and check if she is there or not before coming to the store. Is it not the omni channel experience we should get from the store. Finally the manager refused to address our request. I left the umbrella right at cashier desk and told her again that it is not the question of money. How you treat your customers matters. We are regular and loyal customers visit store every week. I decided not to visit the store any more. We are deeply hurt with the disrespect we got from the manger and arrogancy. I hope you address my concern respectfully and train your employees to...
Read moreThis store left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least.... I walk in and ask a lady to point me to the direction where I could get coconut water and her politeness was the only positive part of this whole experience. As I approach the area, I notice the music was getting progressively louder... I was initially alright with the music as I think it is important for people to enjoy their work however, when the music is too loud to even assist a customer that's when a company should be worried about the type of employees help running this store. Additionally, the music didn't have any swearing which could be more offensive, however, the music being played was music that is religiously affiliated. This store is to represent people, religion, race of all kinds and for no reason should a certain type of music be displayed heavily across the store. Take into consideration of how all of this could affect your business because not just that I was blatantly ignored i felt like i was in a place of faith and that could affect your future sales as I will not be coming back to this store and if this is how it will be consistently ran from now on I'm sure others will find having lack of assistance at a place of sales would find this to be enough of a reason to...
Read moreThe government should step up in this store. Observe, analyze it and fine them for dishonesty and false advertising. Today as of June 30th, 2025. They have not changed the DISHONESTY policies on the meat department, especially the Haitian guy. I was charged for 12 pounds of meat, but I had him cut it (not cleaning it, but I received 9 pounds. He stole 3 pounds from me. The butcher said that it was "the machine's fault." Next time, I would not have him cut it, or use another honest butcher, or weigh it again after cutting it, and if it doesn't match what I initially saw, then leave it and buy it somewhere else. At the cashier's the balance was ahead 3 pounds as well, it appears they all are helping each other to steal. Today as of July 2, there is supposed to be a promotion on spare ribs price at $1.99 and it did not discount anything at the register, not even putting my phone number for the discount... I'm returning this and going back to the store. Promotion is supposed to end...
