Just Spoons Café — Restaurant in Plantation

Came back for round 3 today with my homegirls from Orlando so they could try it and they loved it!!!. CJ was awesome he was our server and such a delight!!!!! I had catfish and grits and they had smothered porkchops and grits my daughter had the strawberry shortcake french toast and chicken she was amazed at how good it was. Champ came and greeted us he is super cool and very engaging made sure we enjoyed our food. WILL DEFINITELY be there again soon!!!

So this my second time here decided to go with my daughter for mommy daughter day and it was amazing!!! I made a reservation this time and we were seated right away even though I was late Champ greeted us he was super friendly and cheerful!!! Our server was Meme I love her energy!!! She gave us perfect recommendations my daughter had a mocktail and I had a punch like drink super delicious, we had the honey butter croissants so soft and scrumptious!!! Better than them Krispy Kreme donuts! She had the chicken biscuit breakfast which was Collassal! I ordered the savory fried salmon and grits omggggg I never had fried salmon before and it hit so welllllll the grits were super creamy and they had a roumalade sauce on the side it was so good the portion sizes are so generous!!! I will definitely be back for round three Champ came to check on us after we were done he is super cool!!! The ambiance is great and loveeee the staff Energy they have the right folks working here!!!!

My cousin and I went to this GEM in Plantation for the first time today and were impressed by the ambiance and decor as we entered. All the staff was super friendly, our server was super awesome he gave us all the best recommendations on food and drinks. He even gave us a surprise on the drinks which came with a small scoop of Italian ice! We ordered catfish shrimp and grits and the tomahawk chop and grits with the honey butter croissant. The croissants were the best I've ever had in my life! The food came out really fast everything was cooked to perfection the grits were super creamy fish fried to perfection and flavorful and the shrimp was succulent and juicy! Our drinks were good I just wish they had Tequila or vodka in them lol overall a great experience:) I will definitely be back to try the French toast and fried chicken and order the catfish and grits definitely! They should consider opening more locations throughout FL especially Orlando I drive or...

I was in Fort Lauderdale during Mother’s Day weekend and so I decided to support a small business. I placed my order online, as did many others. I get to the establishment and notice that there was a line of people waiting on their to go orders. Many were really upset stating that they’d been waiting for over an hour.

After about 15 minutes of waiting passed my pick up time, security comes and begins to allow us in one by one to go check on our orders. I go in and I’m told seven more minutes and I’m asked to go back outside to wait. Then a young lady comes out and gets everyone’s name and goes back inside. Shortly after security comes out with two names on a piece of paper stating that those were the only names in the system. Puzzling because mine wasn’t on the paper. He says we can either wait an hour and a half for our food or request a refund. Of course, I was upset after being told that mine would be ready in seven minutes and now being told that it was going to be an hour and a half so I opted for the refund.

I go in and speak to the same girl that told me seven more minutes. She apologized, had me sign my receipt and then had the manager sign off on the receipt and explained that I would receive a text message later that evening confirming my refund. I did not receive a text message so I waited a couple of days and I called in to find out what was going on. I received another apology and was told that my refund would be processed that day. It’s been over a week and I still do not have a refund.

In the future, hopefully they will shut down the online ordering system or organize things a little better to handle the crowds. When you know better, you do better, but I will not be supporting this business again in the future. You only get one time to steal from me.

I strive myself on honest reviews so to start off the customer service was great shamari did an excellent job with servicing us and again my reviews are just my own personal opinion and experience so the biscuits are great me and my hubby got the breakfast sampler for $12 that’s comes with grits or fries. a biscuit or toast and eggs done your way I requested square American cheese I don’t do shredded the grits still came out shredded and I paid extra for cheese to add bacon it’s an extra $6 charge to add sausage it’s an $8 charge the bacon was cold the eggs were cold with no flavor nothing and I got my eggs scrambled I was highly disappointed because all the great google reviews the grits taste like they added sour cream or cream cheese to it honestly it threw the whole flavor off me and my husband just got a to go plate and left their menu’s are extremely high the basic sampler was the cheapest thing there to order everything else starts at 28 a plate and up and even though we ordered to samplers it came up to $50 honestly I pay the price but for the type of food being served I could’ve went somewhere else for cheaper and better quality of food if that little came up to $50 the rest would have came up to $200 and up a 1/10 I love the soda beverage you get a plastic cup of ice and they just bring you a soda bottle there’s no salt and pepper on the table you have to request jelly smh 🤦‍♀️ oh and it’s best to reserve online if you get to the restaurant and haven’t they will make you scan a code and wait outside depending on the crowding due to limited dining if it’s packed the wait...
