I was really excited to hear about this restaurant being so close to my house. There was a big group of us at my house, so we decided to call and place two separate orders, so that we didn't overwhelm the kitchen ( I'm ITB) My sister=in=law called first, then I called a few minutes later.
When I got thru, the girl that answered was very polite. When I started my order, I started off ordering a chimichanga. When I asked her to add on 4 sides of sour cream, she chuckled.. I then said to her, " When I finish with my order, it'll make sense to why I ordered so much sour cream...
Anyway, she continued to take my order, and even repeated it back to me which was great, but when I was finished, she asked how I would be paying. I told her that we had someone that had just called and placed an order, and that we would be just giving them cash for our order. The girl then said to me that all pick-up orders need to be paid for BEFOREHAND by phone. I then said to her, oh, well that's weird, I've never had to do this before... (but I was ok with it, if that's policy) I then told her to give me a second while i get my card. She then asked if she can put me on hold. I was on hold for about a good 5 minutes before she came back.. I then gave her the card information.
When I got off the phone, my sister in law asked what took so long with the ordering. I explained to her what happened, and then she says, oh, she didn't ask me for any payment...
So at that point, I decided to take a ride with her up to your restaurant, just to see why she NEEDED my payment, but didn't ask for my S.I.L.
When we walked in, let my blue eyed, red haired sister in law go up and asked for her order. She walked right up, and said I'm here to pick up for Michelle. The girl (same girl that talked to both of us, we both remembered the voice) then reviewed the order and said, your total will be 65 and some change...
I then ask her very politely, Hey, you were the one that took the order for Thio right? She says yes. I then ask her, so why is it that you needed to get my card information, but she didn't need to pay over the phone, .when I told you that someone else will be picking up my order? She then started to stutter a little bit and then she said well it was a new girl that took her order and she didn't know that you needed to take payment for orders over $50.. I just said ok and left it at that. I didn't want to cause a scene. I looked on your take out menu, and nowhere does it say that...
Now, I can understand it if it IS your policy to do this... What was not cool at all is that fact that she picked and chose who she wanted to enforce the rules for....It did not feel good. Please treat all of your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA man who I assume is the owner or manager tried to make use eat outside in the mug because we had a service dog, which is completely against the ADA. Do not go here if you have a service animal. The owner is ignorant of the law.
Here's some info about service animals to help the owner in the future, before he gets himself into trouble:
Q: What must I do when an individual with a service animal comes to my business?
A: The service animal must be permitted to accompany the individual with a disability to all areas of the facility where customers are normally allowed to go. An individual with a service animal may not be segregated from other customers.
Q: What is a service animal?
A: The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. If they meet this definition, animals are considered service animals under the ADA regardless of whether they have been licensed or certified by a state or local government.
Q: I have always had a clearly posted "no pets" policy at my establishment. Do I still have to allow service animals in?
A: Yes. A service animal is not a pet. The ADA requires you to modify your "no pets" policy to allow the use of a service animal by a person with a disability. This does not mean you must abandon your "no pets" policy altogether but simply that you must make an exception to your general rule for service animals.
I hope you actually read, and consider your poor actions, instead of leaving a snarky comment like you do to your bad reviews. :)
This is an edit to reply to the owners response:
"I was polite to your family.." Doesn't matter, you broke the law! You want to talk about entitlement, yet you act above the law, because of your feelings. Please read this again, "The service animal must be permitted to accompany the individual with a disability to all areas of the facility where customers are normally allowed to go." That includes your dining room. I hope you keep replying.

Ā Ā Ā Read morerecently ordered catering from BienChido Authentic Mexican Restaurant for my husbandās birthday party, and it was an absolute hit! We chose the āBuild Your Own Tacosā formula for 20 people, and I couldnāt be happier with our decision.
From the moment the food arrived, it was clear that BienChido pays great attention to detail. Everything was perfectly packaged, fresh, and ready to serve. The variety of ingredients and toppings allowed each guest to customize their tacos to their liking, which was a fun and interactive experience for everyone.
The food was incredibly tasty, bursting with authentic Mexican flavors. The meats were tender and flavorful, the tortillas were fresh, and the salsas and toppings were vibrant and delicious. There was more than enough food to go around, and everyone at the party was impressed and raved about the meal.
My husband and our guests absolutely loved the food, and many of them asked where it was from so they could order for their own events. I will definitely be ordering from BienChido again in the future and highly recommend their catering services to anyone looking for high-quality, authentic Mexican cuisine. Perfect...
