I've been meaning to come here for awhile so when my hair stylist moved her shop to the same plaza, I made it a point to go after my appt. Let me just say that if you enjoy fresh ingredients, health forward foods and delicious menu options with amazing prices, Swami Juice is for you.
The shop is cozy with rustic decor. The tables inside are set with mason jars and flowers. The shelves are made of wooden crates and the menu is written on a large parchment paper painted on the wall. Immediately to your right are the prepared grab and go items such as salads, juices, shots, and wraps. The left side of the cafe features aroma therapy, raw almond butter, organic snacks, and more from local businesses.
The staff there is a delight to interact with. I was coming in to try their avocado toast and found that they offer a variety of toppings for it. Choosing to add goat cheese and sunflower sprouts, the girl asked if I'd like it drizzled with balsamic glaze. When I hesitated, she said it was delicious if I liked balsamic and could put it on the side. I agreed and off she went to make my toast. My toast (1 for $6 or 2 for $10), came on a thick slice of multigrain bread, spread with a very thin amount of avocado smash, a generous portion of goat cheese and a sprinkle of sprouts. The taste was great! While not the best I've had, the toppings were a nice customized touch. The balsamic glaze added just the right hint of vinegar and sweet.
Overall, this was a perfect stop for some healthy eats. I also grabbed some shots of juice, turmeric and ginger since they offer a "return 10 shots get 1 free". Not to mention they were just 4 for $10 and came in glass bottles (no...
Read moreThere’s this super rude kid they have working there, I think his name is Rob or maybe Ryan. I’ve held out on posting a review in hopes that he’d change, but as often as I come here, he’s equally nasty each time. He seems to be socially inept (either that or just always in a horrible mood) and he seems to think he owns the place. He acts as if I’m inconveniencing him when I place my order. It makes me feel like I’m walking on eggshells when I visit this establishment. I’ll pay for extra toppings and no joke, he uses one spoonful of the tiniest spoon you’ve ever seen and he considers that “extra.” Not ideal for a bowl of fruit that you’re paying $8 for. His overtly rude and disdainful attitude makes for a very uncomfortable visit. I’ve never seen the manager and I would have really liked to, to tell them in person, but gosh, no one wants to be met with such negativity early in the morning at a business that they frequent. Please re-train this employee or get rid of them because frankly, I’m tired of being treated with such disregard and will happily take my money...
Read moreThe place was cute but everything else was horrible. Me and my partner came in 20 minutes before closing which I know is not ideal, but the service was beyond awful. We came in and said hello and the staff did not acknowledge us at all aside from giving us an annoyed look and going back to staring at their phones. It’s was 2 young girls, and while I’m always very understanding of things like these (I literally never write bad reviews) this was just THAT bad. And I’m saying this as a fellow teenage girl that works in a very similar environment. My partner and I got 2 smoothies and one food item, which was okay except one of the smoothies tasted horribly. But by far my biggest issue here is the customer service. Safe to say I won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. If you want a good smoothie and decent customer service, head down the street to Tropical Smoothie Cafe or just go to a Smoothie King, this place needs...
