Food is basic breakfast food so nothing special. We came from out of town and wanted to try based on the reviews. Food was okay but didnt like to deal with being treated like a second class citizen from the moment we walked in and out. Also we were dressed normally not over or under.At first the server we had was ignoring us when we asked a question and walked off and was snappy when we were trying to place an order for drinks and was coming off dismissive and belligerent like we were a nuisance. I confronted her and said that if she does not want to serve us we can leave. Realizing she was called out, she said she was deaf, so I understood. However there is no excuse for being rude and someone despite disabilities. To our server's credit she was deaf, so she gets a semi pass, but truth is if you look like your not from the area you will be treated badly. This place is in a more affluent and white part of town( um plantation diner), so be forewarned. Did not appreciate being asked for additional tip even when I told the checkout lady I left the tip on the table. 20 dollar tip for a 47 dollar meal, and you look at me with condecending disbelief and have the nerve to ask for more. I'm not willing to pay for respect and to be treated well. Only what is deserved and I was very generous! Old people with old ways of thinking. The condecending attitudes are getting old and no customer should have to tolerate being treated this way when patronizing your establishment. What a horrible start to my day. Will...
