Well, where do I begin? Middle of July and my blower motor goes out on my 22 chevy colorado Zr2.... I know it's under warranty but there is no way I will ever go back to cable dahmer chevy here in town. Just a horrible experience from vehicle purchase to services there.. so where shoukd u go? I google search the chevy dealers in town and start looking at the reviews of the service department close to the 3 bear my home. Closest one,Horrible reviews, so next I check roberts, great reviews so I checked tge 3rd and also good reviews. Decide on roberts having never stepped foot on their lot. Take it in (an hr later than my appt) and start the process w Brian Peck whom I also had the privilege to speak with on the phone. He told me no worries its all good, I was in and out if there in 15 minutes with a 5 yr old in tow and got my loaner vehicle as well... I was expecting a 3 or 4 year old tiny chevy car of some sort... nope a brand new electric chevy blazer with 2000 miles on it! He showed me how to work it and off we went. He was patient and very pleasant the entire experience and he called me the following afternoon and said my truck was done. I picked it up about an hr ago and no charge everything was working great and again he was a pleasure to deal with. I might add I forget my garage opener both trips and left it in my truck on drop off amd then in the loaner on pickup! Lol he was about to close when I called him back and he said sales was open another hr and he would leave it at the sales desk. Went back and there it was waiting for me. Roberts has most definitely earned my services going forward should I need them and I will start my next vehicle search there as well... idk how much Brian makes but it's not enough! Give that man a raise would ya! Overall I couldn't have been more surprised and pleased with the total experience at roberts! ...
Read moreI am writing this review on behalf of my friend who doesn't have a google account. She took her car to the chevy dealership in Platte City because it was making an odd sound, and she wanted to make sure everything was okay. One good thing is that they could get her in 4 days faster than another Chevy dealership in the area.
After looking at her car, the men in the service department told her that a certain part on her car was broken that was causing the noise. They also told her that there was another part on her car that needed to be fixed, but it wasn't associated with the odd noise. They were going to charge her ~$700 for all of this.
Since she doesn't know very much about cars, she called a few people who she trusts, and they told her that it would be very odd if that specific part was broken and causing a noise. She decided to have a family friend take a look at the car, and he told her that the specific part was not in fact broken. She then decided to take her car somewhere else to get another opinion, and they confirmed that the part was not broken. They determined the cause of the noise, and they also confirmed that the second part needed to be fixed. For all of this, they charged her ~$300.
If you don't know much about cars, I highly recommend getting a second opinion if you use this dealership. It seems as though they were trying to tell her to fix a part that wasn't broken, which is...
Read moreAt the start they were my best friend, bought a used f-150, nice truck but when I was looking at it I noticed what I thought was an oil leak, service manager assured me it was just from a messy oil change. Ok so I also want it detailed again cause there was pet hair in the carpet so they take it in the back while I'm doing paperwork and brought it back and it was still messy with hair. Saleswoman said I can bring it back to them or they would just give me a check to get it done myself. They agree to send me a check. I took it home for one night, on the next night I still see what I thought was oil dripping so had my wife drive it back to them and the service manager calls me and says they cleaned the oil up but it's leaking coolant now, I must have hit a rock he said. So they charged me to fix the coolant leak which I thought was oil dripping and now I'm still fighting to get a check for detail job. Not a good dealership at all. They are all buddies til you pay then just rude. Look somewhere else to...
