I need to update again as we have been waiting for 2 weeks for the check that we were told was on the way but have yet to receive and in speaking with the accounts payable department they are unaware of any check been sent to us. So I am changing my review back to 1 star because it seems I have been misled again.
I updating my previous review. After posting the review, I received communication within 24 hours. They are paying for the errors and corrected the mistake. But the mistake was irritating to me. They ordered the correct part from Ford, but said that it came in damaged, so they called Advanced Auto for the new flywheel. But the flywheel was not the correct one and they installed it anyway. I was charged for the Ford part and the Ford part number was put on the bill and until my mechanic found the wrong part and we called them out, they were not going to admit to anything. However the whole situation was taken care of, but it really bothered me that the wrong part number was put on the bill and I was charged for it. I am thankful for the work that was done that they took care of me in a short amount of time as I was traveling through, but this leaves a doubt in me that they were completely honest with me on all the work done.
First comments and a 1 star rating: My rating is still to be determined as they worked on my car and sent me on my way while still having issues. I was told that the starter was bad and that driving it 500 miles would not hurt it. When I got the starter replaced it was determined that was not the issue. I have stayed in contact with them but they have not stated whether they are going to warranty the work yet. Everything they did may have to be redone since they messed something up. I will add to this review once the work is completed. If they warranty their work I will rate it higher but given they have stopped communicating with me I am only going to give them a 1 star now. They think that since I live a long way away that they do not have to provide quality work and warranty the work...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen a customer for several years. This was the final straw.
Unfortunately, after getting my Ford F150 back each time there have been several issues that come up after each oil change.
It all started 2 years ago when I took my truck in for an oil change. They stated I needed new break pads. I had them installed and since then have had major, very expensive issues with breaks, ball joints, roters and wheel bearings since then.
Same tire on the passenger side has had repeated issues after getting break pads. Was told I need new rotors. Got those installed, then told something with my ball joints. Got that fixed. Then the shuddering starts after getting truck back.
"2nd set of roters" now need to be installed only after having them replaced after a few thousand miles.
Take the truck back again for shuddering, same tire passenger side acting weird yet again. Told now I need wheel bearings replaced. Got that done after being in the shop for 5 days.
When I questioned the front desk girl Breanna after receiving a text from her, that now I need wheel bearings replaced, she told me "it is what it is" and I thought that was odd. When I called to talk since she would not reply back via text, She became very defensive and completely shut off and did not communicate with me. This was very unprofessional.
I paid for the wheel bearings to be replaced. Picked my truck up after 5 days of calling and trying to get updates, even after being told they would follow up with me.
Finally, get truck, Get into my truck and had a 2 1/2 inch crack in my windshield! I was told it was not their fault and a rock must of hit my windshield! "Never had a crack or anything before dropping my truck off." We are 100% certain they cracked our windshield blasting heat to thaw out the truck! After spending $1000 in wheel bearings and oil change, I'm now dishing out more money to replace my windshield that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took our 2017 Ford Focus (approx. 50,000 miles) to this Service Department, due to a concern about our dual clutch. I believe the Service Department did their best. They were straight forward. They made several recommendations. It couldnāt have been easy to tell me one option was to replace the clutch for $3200+. It is what it is. Honestly, THIS service department has excellent customer service skills. Thatās who gets the 5 stars.
The following message is for the Ford Motor Corporation. You get zero stars. Iām a senior citizen. It ran through my mind when I bought this car, āI wonder who will out live the other?ā I was betting on the car. My vehicles get excellent care.
I had communicated with 2 of my friends, Focus owners, and they loved their cars. I loved my Focus too. But thereās a problem with the dual clutch. Has this been a problem before? Is it accurate, āāRecall "18S07" refers to a Ford Motor Company recall affecting certain vehicles, primarily the Ford Focus, where the dual-clutch transmission clutch assembly may overheat due to excessive clutch slip, potentially causing abnormal noise, odor, smoke, and loss of power; dealers will update the vehicle software to detect and prevent prolonged clutch slip and replace the clutch if necessary.ā? Was this seriously only for approximately 2800 vehicles?
Iām stuck about what to do. We saved for a while and paid cash for this vehicle. I have no confidence, if I spend the $3200, it wouldnāt happen to a replacement clutch. Either way, I canāt resell it, Iām sure I wonāt get much on a trade-in. My choice to trust Ford and purchase a 2017 Ford Focus has left me in a difficult situation. I need a reliable vehicle primarily for grocery shopping, pharmacy trips and medical appointments. You Ford, have an opportunity to make this right. I...
