Do yourself a favor and go to the one on Lilly and Ford. I have nothing against at&t and I would even say they have better coverage in this area in general. This is a authorized retailer not owned by at&t. The Ford one is a company store. If you have an issue, like I did, you will just be shunned away. I was told a lie about how much my bill for a single line phone plan and a discount with my employer would be. I changed to another provider within 3 days and I ended up losing money. The manager was not helpful and even after assuring me that my bill would be around $60, I got a preliminary bill from att showing $101 there next day. I come in the same day I saw the bill and the manager acts like he told me my employer doesn't work for the unlimited plan I purchased. He then tries to convince me I'm just spending a couple more dollars and $15 will be deducted but 101-15 does not equal around $60. I switch over to another provider the next day and luckily I called customer service and they informed me I wouldn't be charged for anything because of how fast I dropped that plan. I called them the day after I switched. Before I called them I went to the corporate store and they were a lot more knowledgeable and friendly and helped me out a lot. My bill was settled but the store charged me $15 dollars for a sim card which the corporate store said they would only charge $5 and according to the customer service, it would've been free if I got a plan through them. All that was left was to return the Sim card I had for 3 days and was sold with false pretenses and I would've come out with just a minor credit check and a lot of wasted time but as I was saying, they were not helpful and would not refund me. I asked the manager if he could ask anyone else and he said he asked his boss and he also told him not to return the sim card. I went to the corporate store and they informed me they could've returned it if I bought it from their store. Sadly I made the choice to come here. The Canton store has more gadgets and gizmos anyways because it's cooperate owned. Again nothing against at&t but this store is not one you should go to. I was quick to fix their issue but even then they did not want to help or do good by their wrong. Too much manipulation and small things that don't add up. Find a corporate...
Read moreskeptical of signing contracts I have to first start by saying , I have been a at&t customer since 1997. My very first phone was with at&t and my phone now is with at&t , ive been through a lot of changes with this company from when it was cingular and even when cell phones offered free nights and weekends when calling. With that said I vowed after getting my iPhone 4 that I would never sign another contract w a cell phone company again since they had all decided that they were either going to make you sign a contract and or make monthly installments to pay for your phone. This made me angry that they no longer were offering to give their customers a free phone just for having their service . Iphones were way too expensive for me to just buy out right and I didn't want to pay for one monthly either so I started buying my phones used , usually through ebay . It wasn't until at&t decided to run their special buy one get one free and I walked into the Plymouth Michigan store that I would have even considered signing another contract with this company . If at&t would hire more employees like Jack they would probably have double the customers within a year. Jack is a no nonsense type of person when explaining things. He made everything understandable to me which in turn I signed a 2 year contract with at&t and I now have a new iPhone 8 . The customer service in this store was excellent . I have to say that Ramy , the manager of the store, was also very helpful and made me feel comfortable to sign the contract too. All stores should be like this , the atmosphere was great , all the employees were extremely polite and helpful , and most importantly they all knew their facts!! Nothing worse than someone trying to sell a product when they...
Read moreBeware of promises made by sales people at the store. Whether intentional or not things that we were promised by the sales folks here ended up being a total hassle to deal with when the bill came. We got a total of x4 new phones and were promised a lower bill overall. To start when the phones arrived, the incorrect phone was opened and activated. 2, our bill ended up being much higher due to the plan we selected not being activated when we left the store. We were charged around 150$ extra due to this. 3, we were charged for the $6 upgrade sooner on three of our lines when we never even talked or agreed on this feature while in the store. 4, we were told that insurance was mandatory on iPhone 14s when they are in transit we we added insurance to the plan. When I later called ATT to fix the disastrous first bill, the agent told me that was a flat out lie. No new phone requires insurance while in transit. Overall nice guys in store but sneakily adding in features customers never asked for and overpromising and underdelivering is usually not a good recipe for customer service. Thankfully ATT was able to credit us back the whopper of a difference on our bill but it required 4 hours of back and forth on the phone and text with agents. What started out as a friendly experience turned into a nightmare of fixing it after the fact. Be careful and ask lots of questions when sales people here are pitching you ideas that may...
