Batteries Plus — Local services in Plymouth Charter Township

Great batteries but cheap screens used for phone repairs. My iPhone 8 plus' screen cracked after I dropped it one afternoon so I decided to get it repaired real quick locally instead of going to the mall and having Apple do it. The repair went well and looked fine besides the colors not being as bright or vibrant but it was a cheaper install then apple so I didn't care too much. Unfortunately two weeks later I left my phone in my cup holder of my vehicle for a couple hours while I went into the store and came back to finding two cracks starting from the phones ear speaker to the side of the phone. I figured it must just be a defective screen to just break under heat in the car maybe. But I wasn't too worried since I was told at repair that there was a six month warranty. When I went to take it in for a warranty repair I was informed that it only covers discoloration or screen function and not random cracks.

I was told by the manager that the screens they use are "Just as good" as what Apple uses............ apparently not since my screen never cracked during the year that I had the phone up until I dropped it.

As far as batteries Im sure they are a great place, but as far as screen repair, just spend the extra $40 and get it fixed properly with certified parts at Apple or other certified...

Dropped my phone off for repair, was told the part would be in overnight and the phone done by noon the next day. I stayed out of the field in the morning and worked from their parking lot waiting for my phone to get done. My job revolves, in large part, around my phone and my employees being able to get in touch with me quickly. I just went back in to find out they don't know when the part will be here, let alone when it will be done. I have now committed to wasting an entire day of work because I believed their manager about when it would be fixed and will have to come back tomorrow.

This place is ridiculous and I will never use them again. Why tell me a time if you can't stick to it? When I was in the second time I brought up the fact that I didn't like how they lied to me, the guy at the desk just refered me to their manager and wouldn't talk to me about it...why would I want to talk to the manager when he's the one that lied to me in the beginning. Pathetic employees and a pathetic manager. I strongly advise using a different location...

I bought a key fob replacement from an outside company and was given a lot of places where it could be programmed. No one would program my remote unless I bought one from them. I was referred to Batteries Plus (who was not on the list) and was told they could program the remote. The guy who programmed the remote (sorry, I can't remember his name) was helpful and professional and informed me about the process. It took them about 20 minutes to do the job.
