I went to this saloon based on the reviews. I totally regret going there! The girl who did my hair had no experience at all and didn’t know what she was doing. I booked a balayage appointment and showed her a picture. She spent so long on the consultation asking me one thousand questions that I thought oh wow she’s very precise. It turned out she was asking all those questions because she didn’t know what to do! Instead of balayage, she gave me highlights that didn’t even show, and when I told her that, she said that she left the toner too long and kept going on and on that I have yo go home and come back if i didn’t like it!! They think that all people have the time yo ho back and forth, and I barely fit the appointment in my schedule!! After telling her to please change it now, she kept saying steps and terms that I don’t know and I don’t care, just fix my hair! She put soneyhing that made it lighter and the highlights are not even close to the picture I showed her! Not in color and not in distribution. At this point I was done, just wanted to leave. A simple blowout was insane!!! A hairstylist CAN NOT do a good blowout!!! She didn’t even section my hair, just held the brush and kept pulling the top layers and then told me we’re done and that she didn’t wanna burn my hair! She didn’t touch the lower layers, and I have a curly hair, imagine how I looked! Even the area she dried was vey fuzzy and not smooth. Read moreI went back and forth about making this but I felt that I had to. I was looking for a new salon and was so excited to find one close to work. When I looked online it said an all over color was 60$ with Kylie. I walked in the salon with red hair. I wanted to go a red brown with copper. I was told it was achievable it might just be slightly darker. I said no problem. After I was colored when she washed me out she said my roots didn’t take so she put a gloss on them. When she started blow drying my hair she stopped and stated that the dye for whatever reason went super dark. When I saw how dark my hair was I almost burst into tears. She dried it curled it and in the lighting it didn’t look terrible but it wasn’t at all what I wanted. I even said this wasn’t what I wanted but it’s not awful. Imagine my surprise when I paid and was told it was 130$. I went into my car and about had a heart attack when I saw how truly dark it was and the fact that it was purple toned. Not red, not copper, PURPLE. Then I realized my roots were a completely different color compared to my ends. I did call and I originally set an appointment up to have her fix my roots, however I did cancel it because I’m terrified of what color it’s going to go. Unfortunately, after the first hair wash and after straightening my hair the haircut wasn't even straight and not what I had asked for. The highlights were non existent, I don't even know what color, if any, the technician put on there. When I asked for a correction they booked me right away, but when I called to reschedule because of a medical emergency (hospitalized), they said that their policy was not to reschedule for any reason past two weeks from service! Thank you for the 'understanding' (not)! I am not going to mention the technician's name because I respect the fact that she's an employee and followes the business's line, however in no other salon would they have been so inconsiderate to the reason why I asked for a reschedule, which is a health matter. I also paid too much (400$) judging from the outcome!!!!! I don't recommend them at all!!! Think twice before you book!!!!
