Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Northville Charter Township

After placing an app order, I immediately called to add salsa in my order as there is no option to purchase salsa on the app. The lady said sure she’ll add it and the order came home without it and I had to make a special trip. My daughter was very sick at home and I had sent someone else to pick up the order. And the quesadilla taste disgusting without the salsa. When I went back to the store, The lady on the cash register told me that she’ll give it to me this time for free and I told her I don’t need it for free I’ll pay you. I insisted on paying her, she herself couldn’t find a button in the register to charge me. For all the trouble I had taken, she could not spare $.60 on her end, also their smoothies are cross contaminated. I taste other fruits when those fruits aren’t a part of their recipe. I called the store and they gave me an excuse. It’s very hard to get in touch with their customer service. You have to fill in a feedback form and they don’t even get back to you. Too bad I will have to order from another location. Even though this location for very convenient! Honestly with so many negative reviews why don’t they close this location down and open another restaurant instead, Northville deserves...

Great place to start off the day with a healthy breakfast or even a nice smoothie. Really great food that is always fresh and made to order. The staff is really nice and very efficient. I recently started ordering the peanut butter banana crunch flatbread and it’s so0o good, I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves anything sweet. If you are looking for a quick lunch they also have some great options like chicken flatbreads and wrap's, which come with a side item included like a banana or some chips( Miss Vickie’s BBQ are the best). They discount the smoothie price to $4.99 when you buy it with wrap or flatbread, it’s a great deal for the awesome quality of the food and you can save money by downloading the app and using it to get free food and smoothies, also free supplements like multivitamins and whey protein powder for when u are looking to fill up but don’t have the time to eat a meal. Since me and my family have been eating here and healthier in general I have noticed a huge improvement in my children’s emotional wellness and physical health. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Walked inside and was not addressed for a good 5 mins. Manager was on the phone, the other employees were doing god knows what, but not a single attempt was taken to get my order or even address that I was present. A man walked in, the young ladies that worked there immediately greeted him with a smile and a “hi, how are you?”. To add insult to injury, they proceeded to take his order before even addressing that me and my brother were there. I mean, I was obviously standing in line and waiting for my order to be taken. Obviously, I walked out because I can not even fathom spending money at such an establishment.
