I discovered Artelle Designs simply by chance in a Pintrest email . I had been searching for a setting for a marquise-shaped orange sapphire and was immediately drawn to a unique setting design by Stuart that allowed you to look straight through the stone. I emailed Stuart and asked if he would design the same setting in white gold for my stone. He responded nearly right away and agreed to create the piece. Now, I live in California and there was some nervousness in working with a designer 2000 miles away. But, in working with Ellie, my fears melted away as she walked me through the process of sending my stone to their store in Minnesota. The price of the setting was very inexpensive and what I received back was this gorgeous pendant with heavy, substantial gold and the unmistakable look of a custom designed piece that I get compliments on constantly.

So, building upon that extremely positive experience, I contacted Stuart again to custom design a ring pendant featuring a well known mountain in Hawaii in rose gold, incorporating recycled diamonds from an old tennis bracelet. I sent him a picture of the pendant that inspired the design and a picture of the mountain. I entrusted him with the creative freedom to design. Stuart collaborated with me throughout the process, worked within my budget, offerred suggestions, ideas, that I always accepted because they enhanced the design. His care, expertise, skills and talent were on full display when designing this pendant. And, when I received the pendant yesterday, I was so pleased with how it turned out. The design and workmanship is amazing.

The process of creating a custom engagement ring for my fiancé at Artelle Designs was fun and stress free! About a month prior to proposing, I visited Stuart & Ellie, at Artelle Designs, and shared that I was looking for a cushion cut halo engagement ring with a twisted band. After my wedding ring took a trip down the garbage disposal I searched high and low for a great jeweler.
