I used to LOVE the Plymouth Turn Style. Now when I walk in there is a lil' thrift store aroma! My Mom & I have shopped there for probably 25 years! It use to have such special clothing EVERY time we went there. It was a treasure! Today, I $pent almost $400. on clothing. You know that FEELING you get when you walk into a room & you know someone is talking smack about you? Well, I walked away from the register w/ my MANY bags, & quickly turned back around & I could sense the snakelike older (but beautiful) woman "RIPPING" me to Debra, who is a Christian missionary. I grew up in Wayzata. I KNOW how snooty some of the FEMALES can be. I was THE ODD GIRL OUT! It really pissed me off. I returned the items I planned on donating, CHOOSING to $upport the Hodge Twins instead. NO one needs to feel 2nd hand @ a 2nd hand store. People deserve to be treated w/ RESPECT & DIGNITY no matter who they are, or what they wear, or buy! I really LOVED the Christcentered music playing while I $hopped. It was soothing & uplifting, & I made a large purchase to $upport a Christcentered store. Did I make a mistake? Perhaps. * ALL the clerks' for the past 25 years have been nothing less than KIND & WONDERFUL. All it takes is ONE MEAN GIRL to screw it up for several returning customers'. Word of mouth is BIG! Please consider HOW employees treat customer's. Who knows, MAYBE, just maybe you will be working 4 them!!!! This is in NO WAY to trash Turn Style (Plymouth). I hope it wakes people up to BE KIND!! You have NO IDEA what battle people are facing!!!!!! ...

my grandma and I went here today didn't think I'd find anything at 1st but than found an awesome Hoodie sweatshirt,3 pairs of pants a thick sweater like shirt super cute!!! and a very nice winter jacket Calvin Klein only 43$ plus they were having a 20% off on All regular priced items with coat pants sweatshirt and sweater shirt about 83$ really great deal today and I love the home section of the store and the lady checking us out was so nice I was telling her about the one I use to go to in cokn rapids closer to my home and that they left and now it is becoming a music school. Let me just start by saying if I could give Turn Style Consignment zero stars I would. I have been a consigner here since they opened there first store. For years, I consigned my clothing and received 50% of the profits & was told that would "never change" because I was "grandfather in" at 50%. Well, yesterday when I went to pick up my check I noticed that I had now been demoted to 45% (the same amount all new consigners get). When I called to get this straightened out I was told that everyone is at 45% now. Apparently they do not understand the meaning of the term "grandfathered in". In addition to this mistreatment, they have now implemented a new store policy that states if you want your unsold clothing back, you have to buy it back from them at the rate of $1.00 per item. Yes, you heard it right, you pay them $1 per item to get the clothes THAT YOU OWN back! Just one more way this company abuses their consigners. Bottom line, unless you want to be treated like dirt, you'll take your items elsewhere for...
