Asian Duck Plymouth — Restaurant in Plymouth

My husband and I were tired after a long day of work and decided to order something instead of our usual pizza. I happened upon Asian Duck in Plymouth via GrubHub. We decided to take a chance on a restaurant that neither of us had tried before and it did not disappoint. We both enjoyed immensely the meatball and beef pho. The flavors were what one expects from a home cooked meal - comfort and love in every spoonful. The aromas of cinnamon, star anise, ginger and cloves were heavenly. The beef tender and delicious. The accompaniments of basil, jalapeños and bean sprouts were light, flavorful and fresh. We also ordered a Lao sausage bahn mi and a Green Papaya Salad but not realizing how substantial the pho would be, we had a taste of each to savor but we’ll be enjoying the remainder tomorrow for lunch. The crispy french bread with the lao sausage were scrumptious and the papaya salad light and refreshing. We can’t wait to enjoy this restaurant again. It’s nice to have Thai and Laotian food nearby....

This place is a gem! The food is fresh, the decor is modern and welcoming, and the location is perfect. Biggest plus is getting lao style papaya salad without driving further out. Even without the papaya salad, my family loved it. The flavors were perfect. The banh mi meat was cooked in front of you (because of their open concept kitchen and not prebought sandwiches like most places). I also love their plates! It definitely reminds me of going home to my mom's for dinner. The owners are what sold this place. They work hard to provide amazing food. They simplified the menu to provide the freshest ingredients for your order. I'm excited...

I really enjoyed the beef & meatball pho. Fresh side of basil, hoisin, Bean sprouts, jalapeño- clean rich broth. I absolutely loved the Lao sausage Bánh mì . Bucket list must try sandwich. I will do both again soon as I already crave it again! While not typical for most that I’ve had I enjoyed the bread because it was not too crusty.
