I recently purchased new appliances for a new house including a fridge, stove, washer and dryer. After investigating MANY appliances on the internet, deciding which brand I wanted to get, and determining who in the area sold them, I decided upon Dell's. Going into the showroom to physically look at the appliances I was greeted by a salesperson who showed me around and answered all of my questions. I actually ended up purchasing the appliances before I officially closed on the house. There was no problem with delaying delivery until after closing
While the purchase experience went smoothly, I was more impressed with the delivery. The delivery people arrived when promised and took pains to ensure that nothing in the house was damaged while moving the appliances. They also took extra time to ensure that all the appliances were functional and even recommended, then switched, the hinge location on both the washer and dryer.
While I find the internet extremely valuable to obtain information about products, I prefer to use smaller, non-franchise stores for the actual purchase - especially when they have the same price's as a bigger franchise. The sales guy in the showroom was helpful, the prices were reasonable (especially the delivery charge, which included removal of old units), the delivery timeline was great, etc. I was especially impressed with the delivery guys. Most delivery guys I've dealt with left a lot to be desired... the two that came to our house were 5 minutes early, very polite and profession, did an effective job, and didn't break anything (what?!). We were very impressed. I'd highly recommend Dell's and would definitely use them again...

They said āReturn the stove and go else whereā. Nothing about this purchase was smooth or pleasant. A one star is too generous for the service received. Once we got the manager Rick involved fair customer service was finally received. The element on the stove was fixed within a week.
