I cannot say enough good things about Sweet Revenge Custom Chocolate Shop in Point Pleasant. I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened, and I knew from the start that when my wedding day came, they would be the ones to create my favors. While their famous Lackawanna Rods are usually my go-to treat, for the wedding, we wanted something that fit our "beachy" theme—and Sweet Revenge delivered beyond our expectations!

They created the cutest little favor boxes filled with milk chocolate seashells, sea critters, and sea glass-inspired candy. I’d never had sea glass candy before, but it was sooo good! The colors were vibrant, the flavors were spot-on, and each piece was just as delicious as it was beautiful. The attention to detail was incredible—the chocolates looked like little works of art and truly captured the beachy vibe we were going for.

The extra touches Meg and her team put into our favors really made the day even more special. From the packaging to the flavor combinations, everything was absolutely perfect. This is another place that I discovered through Instagram for having some of the best chocolates in New Jersey.

I stopped in the day after Valentine's Day to see if this place lives up to the hype and to get some chocolates for myself.

This place is small but super cute. The staff was friendly and helpful, but a little alarmed that I was taking photos of the shop, which is understandable as they don't want other shops to copy their setup.

Since I went the day after Valentine's Day, they were pretty much cleaned out of a majority of their items, so I couldn't get a custom box created. I opted for a couple that were already pre-made instead. The boxes are a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it. When I sampled some of the chocolates when I got home, they tasted great. They didn't have any off-putting greasy texture that you might get from other shops.
