Had Katzkin custom leather installed in my truck. The console was put back on and torn, had a hole in it. My driver seat was put back in crooked, and broke a bunch of the pieces on the side when it was moved. The center part of the bucket seat is a lockable console. This was completely broken and put back on crooked. The headrests leather was all put on crooked. I was told they would set in over time. It's now been 8 months, and they are still crooked and have a half inch of leather hanging below one of them. Guess I'll keep waiting. I was rushed to pay when the job was finished, rather than looking at my truck. I charged back the entire cost of the job after the owner offered me $200 back. Even after getting the cost back. I still ate another $2000 in fixing the seats and things they broke. This was a brand new vehicle not even 3 months old. I pray no one else gets leather installed here. It's funny how perfect his truck is out front with his leather. Where they actually took their time and did it right. But when you bring your vehicle you get a rushed mess. He did offer to fix the console tear, but once I saw the seats and everything else, there is no way I was letting this place touch my vehicle again. Go to Houston to get real work done. Read moreI have used The Audio Edge for several years now. They have done 10+ vehicles for me. Several of my family and friends have used them also with excellent service and very satisfied with them. Reading some of the reviews and it makes me laugh. Yes, if you bring them something already wired up from someone else and want them to finish it they probably will charge more than you think it's worth but it's because they are liable if something happens when they hook it up. Yes, you might pay a little more with them compared to the guy down the street but if something were to happen to your vehicle at Audio Edge then its covered and will be taken care of but the shop down the road has no insurance to cover all your stuff. I would much rather pay a little more and know that I'm getting quality work and that my vehicle would be covered if something ever happened while it was at a shop getting work done. If you ever have a problem with any of the work done afterwards you can go talk to them like a human and they will try to get the issue resolved. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I went to Audio Edge trying to purchase a new radio, amp and some new speakers! TJ came outside in the heat, took the time to ask me a few questions and then asked me to open my trunk! He didn’t hesitate and jumped in my hot trunk… TJ told me to turn on my ignition switch because I was about to listen to music 🎶 on the spot!! Apparently I have a nice/decent brand new audio system!
