Poor business ethics, I came in to make an exchange and there were two registers operating. Both registers were in the return section. No registers were open for purchases. There was a line in purchases and there was only one person ahead of me in returns. Even after they called for a third back up cashier, they took three purchases before they called me for my return. A good manager make sure that their returns department is doing returns whenever someone's in the store that needs one. If there's no one in the returns line, then of course they can take purchase customers. If they were only going to have two cash registers running, one should've been returnes and the other should've been purchases. A good manager would make sure somebody who has something quick to do, such as returning one item does not have to wait long. After all you're returning an item, you are already a dissatisfied customer, why make you wait? Particularly, why would a person who has one return want to wait for a person who has a buggy full of purchases... Complete disrespect for your customers' time. There's a manager they need some training in good customer service. But I'm here for you, read this post and you'll see what...
Read moreWent into this location by myself with my 7 month old daughter. I did not bring her carseat in bc it's very bulky, will not fit in your baskets, and she sits up by herself so I just put her in the basket. I picked out 8 sports bras to try on, only had one other small item in my basket and headed to the dressing room. I was told that I could not take the basket into the dressing room, even when I offered to leave the one other item with the attendant. She said I would have to take her out of the basket and into the dressing room with me. And do what exactly??? Put her on the floor while I try on the bras???? I've shopped at Ross for years and this policy makes no sense, esp given the situation. I left the store without purchasing anything and don't plan to return. Thanks for making moms with small children out shopping even more difficult. Very...
Read moreLove Ross, but maybe a lil too much!!! They've always got great deals on bad-to-the-bone, men and women's shoes.....they have great deals on everything they sell, but we usually don't make it out of the shoe department!! Customer service is usually non existent until you get through the checkout maze and get to the registers. They DO have a great loss/theft prevention team at this particular store. And that's because they have to..... sadly. We'll probably go back tomorrow to finish what we started this evening to be completely...
