Worse experience i've ever had. To begin explaining my experience, I have been to this salon once before and then I sat down with Tony. I went back today, 4/13/2021, and sat with Tony again. I brought to his attention that one of my nails from my prior visit had fallen off. He repeatedly explained to me that it wasn't his fault, even after I said I understand, he then turned to a man referred to as Kim and began talking in a different language, but gesturing towards me and then laughing. I let it go and shortly after that another man walked in to the store asking "does Kim steal sell w**d out of the salon". The gentleman in the back ,Kim, told him to leave and smoke outside. After Tony finished my fingers we moved to the massage chair. To briefly explain, a technician next to me told Tony she noticed one of my nails was messed up, she then gestured to my nail, my technician said something in another language began laughing and never brought it up to me. When i asked him to fix it he simply placed a top coat on it. He then cut my toe during my pedicure. Initially, he said that he doesn't know how it happened then he tried to convince me that my toe was bleeding from a ingrown nail he claims to remove, I did not feel, see, or even hear about an ingrown nail. My toes was consistently bleeding after the pedicure and he kept trying to wipe it off and tell me not to worry about it. He then proceeded to repeatedly put some green fluid on my toe. He also did not clean any of the tools he used on my bleeding toe before putting them away. While in this shop I watched them make jokes about customer, talk about customers, and outright disrespected an elderly lady who simply asked "how long is the wait" and received the response " a footlong" from Kim. I am from New York visiting family and picky about the places I go to. There have been other nail salons i’ve tried and did not like their pedicures because they were rushed and did not do a good job. I researched and Kim’s had the beat reviews. Upon entrance the place is so cute and decorated by Lina’s family. She is the nail tech whom I had an appointment with. I made an appointment for my husband and I. We wanted the spa pedicure & manicure package, which alots 2 hours. It is actually the same time and you aren’t waiting long unlike other places I have been to jn the past. The great thing is they listen to what you want advise you on things as well. Jimmy was great with my husband and we had great conversations with both Lina and Jimmy. It is also hard to find places that just do regular manicure and pedicures and don’t push for gel. I cannot get gel because i’m a nurse and i’m glad they offered regular manicures and pedicures too. Another great thing is to dry the nails there are fans on the actual tables so you don’t have to walk to another station. Also, the credit card you put on file is not charged, it just a place holder. I would love to give this establishment 5 stars, but I do believe in giving honest reviews because it helps businesses to be better. As for ambiance and customer service, I’d give them 10 stars. As for pedicure, they did an amazing job on my mama feet. As for my nails, I am disappointed because I have healthy nail and it is extremely lumpy. I should have booked with the owner, but my appointment was a walk in at 4pm. The son started my nails and he was very friendly, however I knew from the start that he may have been a bit inexperienced. After trying to soak off my nails and apply tips for 2 hours, another lady stepped in and completed the service. I knew she was tired and frustrated with how long I was taking, but this is a business and healthy nail takes precision. I love the color of my nails, but one popped off 3 days later and the others have chipped within a week. I know they are capable of doing great work but unfortunately that was not...
