Aldi is overall a great place to shop with many great deals, so my rant is directed towards the employees at this location and not Aldi as a whole. I have shopped at this location many times now, and the way the employees handle your food and switching carts is appalling. No matter the time of day or how crowed it is they ALWAYS throw my food into the next cart waiting as if it is super busy. I've been the only one in the line and they still rush your food into the next cart. Don't even give you a chance to help and if you do they are usually rude because they want it their way. I have made it home with dented cans and crushed boxes due to the lack of care. Just recently while my wife and son were shopping at this location they rushed all the food into another cart while she was putting food on the belt. Once again not a busy day and now making my wife switch my infant son and his belongings to the new cart instead of just waiting 30 gosh damn seconds. Then (and i've seen it happen) the cashier goes over to another register to talk with friends. Rushed us to go talk, are you kidding me! The sad part is if I recall correctly Aldi supposedly picked good people from out of town for this location but looks to be that it was an utter failure on their part. Iv'e put many years into Publix and I can assure you they train you in proper customer service. This here is NOT friendly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI enjoy shopping at Aldi"s for their fruits, produce, organic nuts, and gluten free items. However, I am also impressed by how well this staff works together. Today was a very busy Friday and I wanted to compliment an associate named Maribel who was taking time to train a couple of new staff members. She was very kind and patient with them while at the same time she was answering questions for other customers and helping people find merchandise. Most people can't multi task so efficiently. I think Aldi's is very lucky to have someone like her to assist new members. I just wanted to take a minute to give Maribel a sincere compliment for her positive, helpful attitude! It reflects very well on the store to see such kind cooperation among the staff members.
Sincerely, David Du Hamel
I'd just like to follow up with a compliment for an associate named Jay who supplied 2 cold bottles of water for an Air Force Vet who was doing a repair job in the parking lot.
The Vet's name is Randy and he was very appreciative of the kind gesture.
Jay is obviously a man of excellent character-nice to have him on staff for this grocery store. First class...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAldi is renovating the inside of their store so I thought Iād share my experience there. I love that they now keep produce fresher in open coolers, lined across the wall when you first enter. They are trying to make the store more shopper friendly & I believe, once done, it will be. In the meantime, expect to walk in & feel like youāre walking into an ice cooler (I wore 2 layers & still needed a jacket š). They are still doing some renovations in the freezer area but so far, itās looking good. Beware, thereās a very strong odor from the construction & paint so be ready for that. Otherwise, although I shop groceries @ different stores for different reasons, they are best in my book for getting produce, a while chicken at $.95 lb , all while seeing an isle or two of little toys, household items, and such. Remember, be patient, the renovations are still a work in progress. The only thing I wish they would do is to have a standard of at least two registers open. Often times thereās one cashier & to wait on that line with 1-2 items is ridiculous! Happy...
