Making an appointment is a universally understood concept. The customer makes an appointment so that the establishment is ready and prepared to help said customer when they arrive at their appointment time. Which is what I did, twice. But the two guys that work here have apparently made it this far in life without ever having made an appointment for anything, ever. Or it would at least appear that way since neither of them have any concept of how appointments work. I would be surprised if every positive review for this place wasn't a fake review that has been paid for. I've been here twice now to have a cracked phone screen replaced. The first time, I showed up for my scheduled appointment and the guy said they weren't going to be able to replace the screen that day. He went on with some asinine excuse about an appointment not meaning that they would actually help you at that time? Even though thats exactly what an appointment is for. He then asked that I come back today before 12, and he could have it fixed in 3 hours. Showed up today before 12 and a different guy said they could have it fixed today but that it would take 6 hours, I asked if I could come later today or another day to have it fixed because as a single mom with young kids in the house I can't be without a phone for 6 hours. I even offered to make yet another APPOINTMENT. At this point the guy from the other day came out from hiding behind the curtian. He acted as though I was being unreasonable for not wanting to leave my phone for DOUBLE the amount of time he said it would take. He said my phone had to "physically be there even though he wasnt going to get to work on it for hours", and went on with how an appointment doesn't mean anything, and if someone were to walk in they would help them first "because they can't hold your place in line"🤦♀️ Again, thats what the appointment is for, literally. Honestly they are both very rude, and everything they both said was just so stupid that it was physically painful to even listen to, so I left, without the repair that I have already paid for. And I seriously I doubt I'll try their other location either. At this point I would rather purchase a whole new phone than try to deal with these two idiots again or a company that conducts business...
Read moreAfter ~13 years and as many smartphones I finally broke a screen today on my Pixel 6 Pro and was fortunate enough these folks were able to help me out. As a certified/recommended/whatever official Pixel repair center they had my 6 Pro screen in stock. I had called a few other places first (as this shop is about 40 miles away from me), but no one had the screen in stock and those who knew informed me they were around 3+ weeks out. It's just as well, as I would have preferred a Google approved repair location first anyway, it just so happened there are none between this store and one in Melbourne. I called at 2:30, a very friendly staff member answered the phone and was quick to locate the screen in literally under a minute. One of the other places I called had to ask who makes Pixel lol. Price was as-expected, and I was informed it was about a 4 hour job. They closed at 7 but said they should be able to get it done even with me having to drive 45+minutes before I get there. On arrival I was checked in within a minute or two, the tech was real friendly and thorough checking the phone out etc. Having nothing better to do especially in the middle of nowhere, I drove home, sat in my house for an hour, then drove back. I arrived right at 6:30 and they had me ready to go and the phone clean and tidy, no finger prints or scratches readily noticeable on the case, etc. I didn't go over it with a fine tooth comb as I know it's pretty hard to take them apart without any evidence at all, but I'm pretty particular in general and they clearly did a great job. While I obviously hope I never have to return, if I do I won't hesitate in coming back to this store, even with the less than convenient...
Read moreDropped off my $1300+ PC system due to being stuck in a boot loop/not booting. I mentioned that I already came to conclusion it was not a ram problem as I switched out different rams and even tried them in a different PC, so I was more leaning towards it being my motherboard, power supply or hard drive. I was quoted that it would take about a week to run diagnostic. After 5 days I decided to call to get any updates on their diagnostic only to find out they still hadn’t looked at it at all which I could’ve had it in and out repaired at any other place if I had known it was gonna take more then 5 days for someone to even look at it.. But in hopes of getting a second opinion as quickly as possible on what I thought was the problem I kept it there. Day 7 I called and all they couldn’t really tell me anything and just said they’re looking at it. It is now day 10, I was told over the phone they are now waiting on a new “test ram” to come in the mail but I had literally given them SIX different rams and even said the rams were not the problem but in response they had said “it’s not the power supply or a power issue” and that they’ll get to it. We decided to just pick up the PC and just troubleshoot ourselves, so we bought a brand new power supply from Best Buy and now it’s running perfectly. Long story short, If you’re looking for a PC repair don’t bother here unless you’re fine waiting here two weeks for maybe...
