So, as a black individual, this shop is basically telling me that I'm 'less than' because I'm getting charged a lower rate than someone with lighter skin? It's interesting how backwards this is. It's also interesting that people are rating this nonsense 5 STARS! I can see that we sure are PROGRESSING as a society.
I'm pretty sure that this is a violation of the Civil Rights Act. Oh yeah, it is!

Yes, some have the Multnomah County Library stamp on top, that's because it's a difficult book to find and buy as individuals and these wonderful people at Black Hat have done that work for you. All the staff, as well as owner Fred, are pleasant and very helpful. Read moreThis is a wonderful secondhand bookshop! It appears smallish at first glance but the selection of books is wide-ranging and impressive. There are no mediocre books in here.
