Paisley Studios — Attraction in Portland

I am a long time student and had never painted before coming to the studio. Bonnie is welcoming and has a wonderful way of instructing everyone individually and together. There are people doing watercolor, acrylic and oil, some linoleum carving, collage, and whatever else that interests you. Bonnie herself is an accomplished artist, and we all benefit from her diverse knowledge and intuition.

The size of my class session has been around 6, but can accommodate more with the additional space. The studio is very well lit and comfortable. The atmosphere is kind, supportive, calm and relaxing.

I am so grateful to have found Paisley Studio and Bonnie! As a mother of two young kids, I was looking for time for a regular creative outlet for me - and signed up for a studio session on a whim. The community, wisdom, creative coaching and support, and inspiration from fellow artists was not only good for my art, but good for my soul as well.

While the studio sessions are not formal classes, Bonnie (and fellow artists) are always up for giving ideas and feedback, which was the perfect level for me as I explored and learned the watercolor medium.
