If you're looking for PREMIUM furniture. THIS. IS. IT!! I first heard of Chilton from my in-laws who have multiple Chilton dressers, chests, side tables and other pieces, which are over 10 to 15 years old, and they still look and feel (and smell) brand new! Chilton stands by their pieces and you can see why. So my wife and I went and ordered the MS1 chest and dresser for ourselves. They were both in stock so they were delivered within 2 weeks! The pictures on their website are great, but when you see and feel them in person, you can see their elite craftsmanship in every little detail. The solid Cherry wood, the clean finish, the soft closing drawers and the nice sleek lines give them the classic timeless elegance! I can rave all day about their pieces, but their customer service, and the people who work for Chilton is what makes them the best! Once our pieces were delivered to our doorstep by 2 wonderful gentlemen, Adam and Bobby, they moved the 2 over 4 drawer chest up through our stairs into our 2nd floor bedroom nice and easy. But the 8 Drawer Dresser was not fitting through as smoothly. They tried every angle and every option, it just wouldn't work. It needed just a couple inches more clearance to fit. My wife and I were distraught, and didn't know what to do. So we called Chilton and talked to Eleanor, who was SUPER understanding and knowledgeable and offered us a bunch of options! We had to send the dresser back with the guys, but Eleanor and the team of builders at Chilton offered to build us a custom MS1 8 Drawer Dresser with removable legs! This custom dresser will have to go through their pipeline, so we'll have to wait, and it would cost a tiny bit more than the original, but we were so happy and thankful that they were able to accommodate so many options for our situation. Eleanor was very responsive throughout this process of trying to find us our options! Thank you to the entire team!

In addition to being a long-time Chilton Furniture customer, continually happy with all of the great pieces I’ve purchased from then over the years - I also wanted to share a recent experience with customer service.

I had odered a few living room accessory pieces (end tables, etc.) just before the COVID-19 situation unfolded. The pieces came in and the Zac at the Scarborough store was super helpful in assisting with a smooth, limited contact pick-up in mid-April. The furniture was absolutely beautiful, and exactly what I had wanted for the space. I ended up having a concern related to coloration which I had hoped I’d be able to get used to.

When I finally woke up and realized that the issue I was having wasn’t likely to be something I’d be happy with long-term, I went over to the Scarborough store, and the manager fully understood my concerns and referred me to one of the owners.

I wrote an email to Jared (one of Chilton’s owners), and explained my quandary. Jared responded immediately to my email, and was extremely helpful in assisting me with replacing the items which weren’t working out for me. And he offered to do this - before I “mentioned” that I had already placed replacement items in my Chilton on-line “shopping cart” anyway (which happened to be more expensive than the original ones).

So all of this long story is to say that, in addition to having a great selection of really great, high-quality furniture - I can’t really say enough good things about the customer service experience I just had.

I have a Chilton bedroom set that’s probably 10 years old at this point - and looks as good today as it did when I got it. I look forward to getting the new pieces I just ordered with the same expectation.

Chilton furniture really isn’t the sort of thing that you buy, and replace in a few years because its quality doesn’t last. It’s the kind of furniture that your kids will want to make sure you leave them in your will!

My adult daughter and I had a wonderful experience buying her a bed for her first apartment after college from Chilton Furniture. After browsing online, we called to speak to someone because we were having a hard time choosing between two different bed models. The person was knowledgable and incredibly helpful in obtaining specific measurements and answering questions about the models. In fact, it was such a pleasant experience to have a human answer the phone that when we were ready to order, we called them again instead of doing it online.

The communication from start all the way through to delivery was fabulous. The delivery was seamless (a 3rd floor walk up old building with narrow, turning stairs!). The bed is absolutely beautiful, well made, and exactly as described both online and over the phone. It is timeless in design and the craftsmanship will last a lifetime. Furthermore, it was very well priced (and seems much higher in quality) compared to the larger "more popular" furniture companies we've shopped at before.

I will definitely look to Chilton Furniture first whenever I am in need of...
