Decided to visit the store while visiting Portland because you can shop without sales tax, thinking it wasn't a bad idea to try to tackle some wish list items with a slight discount. It was 3pm on a Friday afternoon and for some reason was not allowed immediately into a not busy store and agreed to wait. No less than 8 people exited, before I was allowed in. Most times I've seen a queue at a store, people are let in after same number of people in their party exit. At entry, I was provided a sales associate to work with. Also not typical in my other LV experiences. I enquired about some items. At every turn, it seemed, the sales associate told me they weren't available. Some were just being viewed at that moment by other customers (though not necessarily being purchased). It to the point that items which may be interesting to me through our discussion were not even in the realm of suggestion from this associate. Only when I pressed, did the associate check with colleagues whether it would be purchased, she also never checked the computer/stock room to see if others were in stock. Then, when discussing wallets, I was shown a number of walletsI wasn't interested in, only to have the sales associate walk away only to have my husband identify an item in the display which was essentially what I was describing. I was then told it was rare and while waiting for the items to be packed up, we see yet another also out on display. A disappointing experience to basically have to fight with the sales folks to part with...

They kept blaming UPS and told us to contact them and we did and UPS said we had to contact LV. Then they said we had to contact our bank and it goes back and forth! They said I was going to get my money back within 14 days and when I went to the bank to deposit/ cash it out , there was ānot enough fundsā cause they supposedly gave us a temporary refund and not actuall credit. Whatever that means? I donāt understand why itās so complicated to just refund my actual money back instead I have to wait and call and wait and call like Iām not an important customer. im not a huge fan anymore . They definitely need to do a better job in the financial branch , making refunds simple and fast because Iām wasting my time and energy & emotions .. itās making me mad, frustrated, running out of patience where I just want to sue them . I work hard for my money and I donāt play around about whatās mine. Itās wrong to take someoneās money without giving them the item or not refunding actuall credit when itās due. Iām definitely never ordering online again and donāt suggest anyone else to either! Iām still waiting for a call back this very moment just to make sure they resend actual credit to my bank! I take exceptional care of my items, and the button (the old colored buttons) on my Rosalie wallet was wearing off after only using it for a year. This has been stated as a manufacturing issue and they don't make them like this anymore because the colored buttons would wear off so easily. So I recently took it in thinking they were going to take care of this button repair, because this is Louis Vuitton (and the rest of my wallet was in pristine condition). Instead, I was helped by one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered. She said there was absolutely no way they would cover a repair because my item was over a year old, and that it would cost me $100. So long story short, I had it repaired and paid the $100 because I wasn't going to carry around a wallet from Louis Vuitton that looked cheap. Fast forward a couple weeks, I was talking to a few people who have said that Louis Vuitton has REPLACED their years old items for free, and that you "just have to talk to the right people". This is so messed up and unacceptable. So some people get their items replaced or repaired for free, but others are treated horrible and have to pay hundreds of dollars?
