Visiting this Lululemon was an atrocious experience for my husband and I. We went to shop and update our wardrobe for the summer and immediately upon getting in, three of the four staff checked with us, immediately noticing they were not doing the same with the other customers (my husband is a black man, so our red flags shot up). I tried shopping in the leggings section, and the staff there stayed within 12-16 inches of me, calling another staff member back while I tried to browse and had a very clearly false conversation.
I felt uncomfortable and went to find my husband, who had found a pair of shorts and was still browsing. The woman at the front door asked him "are you going to buy that?" upon which my husband had had enough (he told me he had been followed around the store as well). He hung the item back up and we went to leave, the staff member said she "didn't mean to scare him".
It is rare we still experience this level of racism in cities, but we were reminded how alive racism still is by the staff in this store.
I do not recommend visiting if you are a person of color...
Read moreI felt overly self conscious in this store and felt I received a lot of unwanted attention from staff because I am plus sized. Everyone had a nice tone, but I was followed around and asked by 2-3 people more than once if I needed help finding my size. I declined each time--I've shopped at Lulu before and know my sizing. I didn't notice them asking anyone else in the store the same questions. When I asked for a dressing room, a worker gave me an unnecessary spiel about every single item I picked out, over explaining that some pants would have stretch and some wouldn't. They continued talking to me through the door as I tried on clothes, asking about sizing again. I declined each time, saying I'm okay and I don't need help. They couldn't take the hint. It was just so awkward to have a 40+ minute shopping experience where everyone was overly concerned with the fit & sizing of my clothes, with me repeatedly declining help. I am an adult and know how to shop for...
Read moreEmployees at this location lack professionalism, customer service skills, people skills and kindness, and maybe because I am person of color . Lady with the curly helped me first , she asked me for name and I said elisha thn she proceeds to say falisha âŠ. And maybe she didnât hear me , she could have asked me to repeat myself rather than saying the wrong name and not even apologizing. The other tall lady has some issues too . She didnât ask me if I had any questions when I was deciding between 23â and 25â but I could see her giving me weird looks as if I was about to steal them . White ladies of this store , idk where you came from but this is not grants pass, junction city , or Redmond. You literally work at one of the most diverse parts of the city , so quit...
