West Coast Diner — Restaurant in Portland

Food was decent. Better than I expected from the looks of the building. Inside is quite clean. Restroom is old and kind of sketchy. Our server was very kind! Prices are average. Coffee isn’t great. All you can hear is the buzzing of the equipment or people’s conversations. Would be nice to add some music you can actually hear (it was on, just far too low). Parking is odd and will get worse when the new McDonald’s comes in next door. Spruce up the outside so it’s more inviting and please serve better quality coffee. LOVE that there's a basic diner here in Kenton! We stopped by before a day of thrift shopping for a bite, and we're so glad we did! First, and most importantly --- the COFFEE IS AMAZING! Robust but not bitter, full-bodied and aromatic. My friend had a Veggie Skillet that was packed with fresh veggies and lots of cheese, and I had The Basics with hash browns and sausage links. Our service was amazing! Lucy, our server, seated us promptly. She gave us time to view the menu and place our order. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. My son and I both ordered a burger with the works. The food was fresh, the produce was fresh which included red onions, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. The french fries were delicious, fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a great experience and we would definitely come back again. Oh, and we didn’t get pictures of our food because we devoured it...
