I came here today to get some paint. I know nothing about paint. Humbled myself and tried to inquire about what’s right for me and for some reason the guy helping me, who seemed to be the manager, was just going off on me, yelling at me, and was super rude and aggressive. I don’t know what I said that made him mad at me or annoyed but that’s no way to treat people man. I felt so uncomfortable for the rest of my time there. Left and didn’t even get what I needed. Everyone else at the store was so above and beyond nice. As they are at every ace hardware. Customer service is what I love about this place. I don’t know, maybe I got it wrong and misunderstood. But I doubt it cause I saw just interaction with someone else and it was night and day different. I was so calm and in a chill mood. I was in no mood to voice my concerns or deal with conflict so I held back from saying anything. That’s why I gave 3 stars cause generally this place is top notch. Wow! I am just so pleased with my store experience today. A little cutie patootie named Max helped me out so much today! I came into the store today in search of soil for my gardening pots but I needed help as I did not know which I needed for my pots. I went up to a young man named max who seemed to be seemed to be busy but dropped everything and started helping. He was a huuuuuge help. He taught me all of the nooks and crannies of soil and showed me everything I needed to know and which to buy. Also at checkout he was being a great helper as I was having trouble with my coupons, these gizmos these days are killing me. But he did what he should and called his manager over who later helped me, it was a life saver. He was such a polite young man too and even carried my bags of soil out to my car. I've been trying to find a particular product in stock and none of the other stores had it - not Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Target, Sears.. Nobody had it ready for pickup the same day. I called and this store had the items in stock! A very nice gentleman that I spoke to on the phone reserved the items for my pickup. I arrived and the items were ready for my pickup and another very nice gentleman even loaded the boxes into my car.
