My experience at the Prattville recruiting office was extremely disappointing. I was told I was completely disqualified from serving—a statement that turned out to be false. It felt like they simply didn’t want to put in the effort to help me, and that misinformation nearly made me give up on my future.
When it comes to someone’s career and life opportunities, if you’re not willing to put in the work, be honest about it and refer them to a recruiter who will. Don’t take away an opportunity that could change someone’s life just because you aren’t willing to go the extra mile.
