Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Prattville

This place is an absolute joke! You wait forever no matter what you order, the food is never right, and the attitude is just awful. I ordered two drinks on the app for happy hour and I sat in the stall for over an hour waiting for two drinks no food I even checked in to make sure they didn’t forget and when the drinks came out after an hour they were watered down with no ice in them. I ordered door dash through them a few weeks ago I ordered a breakfast burrito with mozzarella sticks and a large drink, it took them 45 minutes to even complete the order and when I received my food it was a cheese burger with onion rings. The onion rings tasted like they had been fried in the same oil as something sweet they were awful. The recipe from that day had my original order on it so it was not the dasher picking up the wrong bag. A few days ago I tried again because I really want this burrito but I decided to make it a simple order and just order the burrito and tots I wait over an hour and the order finally arrived. I got someone’s $40.00 order instead of my $10.00 order I’m not sure if this was the dashers fault or not but with everything else that’s happened I’m assuming it’s Sonic’s fault. So still really wanting this burrito I go myself today at 8:00am I sit in the stall for a good 15 minutes and no one has even come over the speaker to take my order so I mash the button again and another 15 minutes goes but still no answer so I push the button again and finally about 10 minutes later someone finally asked to take my order. I would understand and cut some slack if they are busy and have other customers…. I’m the only one there. So when she finally asked to take my order I order just the burrito no drink no side nothing, she tells me it’s going to be over 20 minutes before it is ready they open at 6:00 am and I’m there at 8:00 so I ask her why it’s going to take 20 minutes to get the order and she then tells me “ don’t come at her with that kind of attitude” so I respond with “yall are awful at customer service” and drive off still no burrito. This sonic is literally so slow it’s frustrating. Every time I’ve gone we’ve had to wait anywhere from 25-35 mins just to order and then another 30 mins to get a few items. Just went to get food with my family since it was the closest “fast” food place to where we were at the time and we decided to eat outside and we waited 10 minutes before giving up like some of the other people who drove in and still hadn’t gotten their orders taken. While waiting only one single person got their order within that 10 mins and instead of taking orders the staff were inside showing each other stuff on their phones and laughing and what appeared to be dancing?? If they were dancing it was very bad. Looked at us from inside numerous times the least they could do is come out and give us an estimate time of how long it will take and apologize for the wait instead of completely disregarding us. We left and decided to go to the sonic on the other side of town and we were there for less than 10 minutes and ordered immediately when we pulled up and got our order so fast despite the other cars. So if you have the choice between the prattville and millbrook Sonic always choose the millbrook one they’re always so nice and make sure to show that they at least acknowledge...

im giving this place 5 stars because they r trying really hard. there food was good and service was great. yes it took them a good bit but they were really busy and looked like they had short staff which in my opinon that's everywhere (short staff) doesn't mean that they don't deserve this 5 stars. i saw this poor worker working really hard. bless her heart she ran right into my mirror she was rushing trying to get orders out to ppl i aksed if she was ok and she didn't hear me because she was running 90 to nothing. praying she's fine . while the other workers were inside cooking the meals, for us. what bothered me was another customer was really rude to her next to me. she yelled at her because she said she was taking forever on the food. im proud the the worker even tho it upsetted her she kept her cool and said im sorry mam im going as fast as i can. i will get your order soon! and which she did. we have got to remember the workers here are ppl to and they r trying to keep there power on just like we are. so remember next time you get impatient because your really hangry take a deep breathe and remember there trying...
