They are nice up and until you have made a purchase! If you have a problem and or âattempt a returnâ expect hostility! I was sold a defective and worn sport coat, which had stains on the inside! All without me having worn it. I removed the tag carefully tried it on with a dress shirt and clean cotton undershirt, took pictures and tested various combinations. After it was hung back up and in a clothing bag. Where it stayed until I attempted to return it! I bought a matching shirt and wore that for exactly one hour, with undershirt, and after being completely bathed and fresh. It ended up having the tiniest of smudge on the collar. Which I realized was from trying it on prior to purchase with the help of staff! I had come in after work and was filthy. Had I not made the purchase, the blemish would have still been there! I experienced significant financial hardship and actual crisis, so I was forced to make the returns. I was met with a grown man temper tantrum hyperventilating staff member berating and shaming me! I calmly stated like a broken record these items were not used and I demand a full refund as per the policy. Huffing and puffing and threatening me finally called another higher up. Who he prepped and convinced of my negligence prior to arrival. She was no help and I was left with them sending me off, stealing the hangers back, stuffing the expensive coat into a shopping bag not garment bag, they took all the tags and basically kicked me out of the store! If I had the intentions of being dishonest I could have certainly checked for defects and dirt, touched it up, and brought it in and lied about everything! Instead I kept it all as it was, exactly how it was at the time of purchase. Only to have my honesty used against me and further exacerbate my financial hardship! For as much as they charge for clothing way over priced and made in child labor third world placedâŚ.. you would think they would try to be more fair. Alas as customers we are expected to bear the weight of their poor business practices and model which is antiquated! It isnât my fault they are a dying breed of brick and mortar business. Had that been an online shopping return? My money would have been returned in full without question or concern! I am going to be filing a report with the consumer practices oversight, or whatever it is called. Possibly small claims court. I have never been so poorly treated and shamed by another living person, in a so called professional capacity! Maybe one time when a teenage girl cussed me out from behind a fast food counter! âDILLARDSâ the recalcitrant teenage girl of...
Read moreShocked that they sell top designer car seats and wonât allow the courtesy of bringing them out to check that they fit in your car. Due to safety regulations, they wonât accept returns on opened boxes. So be sure the model you choose will fit in your car.
Iâve been looking at Nuna infant car seats that snap into Nuna or UppaBaby strollers, and with their long bases, they take up so much space in my SUV that my husbandâs knees hit the glove box because the seat has to be moved up so far. I learned this because I tried it out at Pottery Barn Kids in Scottsdale. They allowed me to test it out there!
Now Iâm car shopping to find a car that will accommodate the car seat. I wanted to bring my husbandâs SUV to Dillardâs and see if they could help us find a solution and I was told ânoâ straightaway by the associate. When I told them that PBK extended that courtesy to us, they checked with the manager who also said ânoâ. I was offered dimensions which can be found online. Car seats donât have straight edges, and the front seat this needs to fit behind can be reclined/inclined to find the best fit. Dimensions arenât helpful in this case.
Oh well, back to Scottsdale for the customer service I expect when making a $500 final sale purchase. And I wonât be bothering to shop at Dillardâs for fashion anymore, since I can get free shipping and returns with...
