Dillard's — Local services in Pueblo

9/27/23 RASIST!!!!😡😡😡😡 first time visiting this mall since moving to Pueblo. So, I took my godmother. We walk into Dillard's to look around. 1. We look at the high-in handbags 👜 and immediately their employees in that department (2 WHITE WOMEN) KEPT THEIR EYES 👀👀 ON US THE WHOLE TIME AND FOLLOWED🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️ US AROUND THAT TINY AREA. 2. From there, we go look at women shoes 👠. The same thing happened, WE WERE FOLLOWED 👀👀 AROUND THAT TINY WOMEN SHOE DEPARTMENT as well. 3. From there, we go look at women clothes. Guess what happened, WE WERE FOLLOWED🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️👀👀👀 AROUND THAT TINY DEPARTMENT too, this very persistent old white lady was almost EVERYWHERE we ended up, JUST LOOKING 👀👀👀👀👀😡😡😡...SO VERY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR... We leave Dillard's and walk around the mall (if you can call it that, it's extremely small). When we were ready to leave, we walked through Dillard's again because we parked at that entrance. My godmother decided to purchase something from the tiny handbag department before we left. As we are walking towards that area, one of the white employees from earlier 👀🚶‍♀️👀🚶‍♀️states that the 'other black lady we were with is gone'. I looked👀 at her and asked what she was talking about?. She said earlier it was 3 of you here 😡🤔🤔. I said to her my godmother and I are here together, what are you talking about?? She then said to me, "Oh, never mind🤔🤔🤔. ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT IF THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE BLACK PERSON IN AN AREA WE MUST ALL BE TOGETHER AND KNOW EACH OTHER 🤔🤔🤔 **NOT ALL BLACK PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS AND NOT ALL WHITE...

1 star because it's required, if I could give 0 stars i would. I was in Dillard's in the Pueblo mall today and I was in the women's shoe department and NOT 1 employee asked me if I needed help with anything. I was shopping for Sorel boots and I decided to go to Dillard's rather than ordering them on the Sorel website because I used to work at that Dillard's so I know that the have to meet a "sales per hour" goal everyday. I had the money to spend on 2 pairs or Sorel boots at $140 each. I was trying to be nice because i know how it is. The people they have working there are snooty and think that you are below them. Just because I am wearing leggings, a tank top, and flip flops doesn't mean I don't have money. Worst Dillard's EVER!!! On a side note, DON'T ever work there. There are 3 employees that have been there for 20+ years and have a clientele which is good but even on their days off they get the sales which makes it impossible for anyone else to meet their sales goals especially in Pueblo and if you don't meet your sales goals everyday, you will eventually get fired. Even if you provide the best customer service, it is hard to get sales. Dillard's in the Pueblo mall is a freaking joke. I have been to Dillard's stores in Denver and surrounding areas, Colorado Springs, and in Arizona and those stores all have nice employees that help even when they are super busy and...

Jenny in management was fine selling a customer “new” sandals with toe marks.

Dillards fails to meet its own expectations. I went in today to purchase some Birkenstocks that I needed and chose to leave with a pair that looked obviously worn because they couldn’t offer me a timely delivery. The last pair of this style in the size I needed, unfortunately was the display model, and the wonderful associate named Mo’ advocated for me too manager overseeing shoes, Jenny. Unfortunately, Jenny failed to meet Dillard’s standards. I don’t know that I’ll be back, but I think Dillards is fortunate to have a sales associate like Mo’. “ The Company focuses on delivering style, service and value to its shoppers by offering compelling apparel, cosmetics and home selections complemented by exceptional customer care.”
