Sand Pebble — Local services in Punta Gorda

Stumbled upon this wonderful store after a morning run to Fishermans Village.  I stopped to enjoy a cup of coffee and window shop since many stores were not yet open. The owner opened the store early & I had to pop in and check it out. So many great things to say about The Sand Pebble. I had a pleasant conversation with the owner, Eddie. I enjoy talking with owners, managers, etc. of shops, as it often times inspires me to bring new ideas back to a store I manage. I love how the store had something for all ages. Enjoyed walking around and taking it all in. I said I'd be back when I had more money with me, and I did! I found so many good gifts for people, as it was the Sunday before Christmas. I'll still be back for my Punta Gorda mermaid map sign!! Its a beautiful sign, and I love Mermaids! I like to support shops that really take the time to get to know those who walk into their store. Im always looking for nice experiences, no matter where I wander. This was a great experience.  Goes to show that when you take time to talk, people will value your time and support you. My wife and I were Christmas shopping for family for Florida themed items. I had given her a tag off the ring I found and placed it on my finger. We rang up all our purchases and the women at the counter wrapped everything carefully as some items were fragile. She gave us a gift bag for an alligator head. Then after all was done she had not rang up an inexpensive ring. My wife didn’t see my ring on the invoice (my wedding ring entered the ocean fishing with my wife and daughter. Lol). She said don’t worry about it and thanked us for coming.

Lastly, my wife bought a hat last year when we were here and she recognized the hat. Great customer...
