We moved to Putnam a year ago, inheriting a 6-year-old stacked washer/dryer unit from the previous owner. A week ago, the dryer stopped working--and we prepared for the worst: the likelihood of spending more than $1300 on a new replacement. Then we heard about JT Appliance repair service. We called, set up an appointment with a 2-hour window for the next day. The breakdown was caused by a broken dryer belt--a $16-dollar part, and a modest home service fee. A temporary repair took about 20 minutes, and after ordering a new belt, the JT Appliance repair guy had us up and running two days later. JT Appliance is polite, reliable, and costs are modest compared to the price of a new machine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
UPDATE on 28 September 2023: Today JT Appliance delivered a new refrigerator to replace the one in the house when we moved here. The team delivered the new fridge on time, and took just over an hour to remove the doors of the old one and move it out, and remove the doors of the new one as well as the front and one access door to get the new refrigerator in. PERFECT!! This was all done professionally. The price was a bit lower than the Lowes/Home Depot option, and the cost of delivery was lower too! GREAT...
Read moreMy dishwasher was leaving water in the bottom after cycle ended,I called and made an appointment, technician came out and said drain pump was defective ,so he replaced it, well I used it that evening and again water at the bottom ,so I called and let them know and another appointment was made ,in the meantime my so stopped by and he felt the drain hose may be too long and water couldn't fully be drained out ,we removed a few feet of hose and it drained fine I honestly don't think the technician let it run long enough to make sure everything was working well ,my theory is I don't mind paying for a person's knowledge etc but paying and not curing the issue is disturbing ,I contacted the appliance store and I asked for at least some credit towards a future visit and I was told the new part was put in and nor refunds or credit ,so it cost me 250 dollars and...
Read moreSold me a faulty dishwasher that stopped working after a year and 3 months. Came out to fix it and stuck a paper clip into washer holes and charged me. Didn't fix dishwasher at all and won't honor any kind of fixing it or replacing it. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. Customer service non existent!! My daughter and I fully rinse our dishes as proof our other dishwasher lasted 16 years. The grease should dissipate with the heat and the soap but it does not. It's a faulty dishwasher that they will not fix. They will not honor any kind of customer service with the dishwasher being only a year and 3 months old. Back the brands you sell. If not, don't...
