Charlotte's — Local services in Raleigh

I cannot explain how disappointed I was with Charlotte's N. Hills. I purchased a luxury watch and that's where my poor experience began:

1. I was told for every $150 I spent I would get a $25 gift card back from North Hills. They did not understand the policy (although they used it in their sales pitch) and instead of getting the expected $225 I only received $50 back.
2. I was told my watch would arrive within, at most, 2 weeks. It did not, and almost missed the event it was purchased for. It arrived instead in four weeks, and I had to continually follow up for an update and often didn't receive a call back when promised.
3. When it did finally arrive, I went to pick it up and get it sized. Initially we took out 5 links, which felt a tad loose so I asked to try one more (which appeared to be asking her to go above and beyond based on her facial reaction). With six removed it was too tight so I said let's put one back, and I am all set (which also appeared to unnerve her). She went in the back and returned with the watch boxed and I left. When I got home I realized she did not add the link back in, so my watch does not fit and my event is in less than 24 hours. I will go to another jeweler to help me, primarily because I am now so frustrated I do not want to go back in this store.
4. After all of this, the owner has yet to contact me and has lost me as a customer for life.

I prefer to support locally owned stores - but this one just lost my loyalty. I recommend you they do not sell luxuary items if they plan on treating their customers this way. I had higher...

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. this chain does not stand behind their store policies. Buyer beware. The girls working the store are around 22 years old and in for a rude awakening when the real world sets in. They are a prime example of millennial snots who have no perception of reality. Please you are working retail in Raleigh, NC. What exactly gives you the right to stick your nose up to people who walk through your petty store. They make you feel as if you are Julia Roberts in Pretty Women when she was shopping on Rodeo Drive. They get extremely snotty and rude when you try to do a return within 2 weeks as their return policy states. I was with my 3 year old daughter and the girl named Sabrina threatened to call security.. I guess because I look like a major threat with my 3 year old. I will NEVER Shop HERE AGAIN! RUDE RUDE RUDE. They should rename their store RUDY CRUDYS. My BBB complaint...

Normally I love visiting this store when I am in the Raleigh area but will never go into this store again. I was in town for a medical appt and wanted to do some Christmas shopping so I visited North Hills. I walked into the store, there were 2 employees standing at the jewelry counter talking and putting earrings on the stores tags and talking. They did not speak to me when I entered but looked at me so they knew I was in the store. They didn't move from the spot they were in when I entered, never asked if I needed anything or if they could help me and I was the only customer in the store. I walked around and left because I felt so uncomfortable. No acknowledgment at all not even a good bye! NOTHING! 12/10...
