Just had a very surprising experience. I went in to order 4 burritos for my family. The store was empty, so I asked if this was open for orders, and one of the workers said yes, "right over here." One gentleman started helping me, when from the other side of the store another worker named Nick told me quite rudely that I needed to order from the app. Understanding that rules are different with Covid, I asked if I should continue my order at the counter. The gentleman that was helping me responded with yes I got you. However Nick from across the store told me he didn't care what I did. In shock I asked him if he really didn't care and he confirmed that he didn't care. The other guy helping me was trying to defuse and asking me about my order while Nick was still mumbling. A lady walked up and was talking to Nick I think but he was still mumbling. I asked the gentleman helping me if there was a manager, to which the lady name Valerie responded and said she was. I told her that Nick told me he didn't care if I ordered 4 burrito's or not. I asked her if she cared. She took Nicks side as well about not caring if I ordered so Panera next door got my lunch order today. I guess Nick's willingness to be so confrontational with a customer in front of the manager, should have told me the type of place that was being run there anyway.
I guess Nick was honest that he didn't care if I ordered, and I realize 4 burritos isn't exactly going to pay any ones salary, but I assumed every little bit helps. In a time where there are so many good people out of jobs that don't exist right now, if I were the owner I think i might look to see if there were any other folks out there that needed the money more than Nick or Valerie that would be willing to work hard to put food on their table.
I apologize to the other gentleman that was helping me that I forgot his name. He was trying to be very professional in this situation caused by his co-worker. Best of...
Read moreThis review isn't about the food but more so about the staff. I came to this location twice in the past two weeks and both times left little to be desired. The first time, one person was prepping online orders and another was just texting someone. They seemed to be having a great convo because she couldn't be bothered. A lady came behind me and asked if the one person prepping orders was the only one working. The texter said "yep were short staffed because people keep calling out". I could understand later why she wasn't touching the food because she was the cashier. However...a little heads up would've been helpful to remedy her super laxed demeanor while she was supposed to be working.
Visit #2 was on 7/1/2021. I get there and at first a guy was taking orders... until he got to me. Then he left to pull food off the grill because he was obviously a cook who was trying to help out. Once again, one lone person was left to take orders and by this time, I had 2 people behind me. There was also a line that began to form for online orders. The one person finally took my order and while I waited to be checked out, I saw two people who looked like they were struggling badly to put together online orders.
The worst part of all was someone placed an online order, that just sat there without a single announcement. The guy was tall so he grabbed his order after realizing it was his, said it was ridiculous, the cashier cackled. Not laughed... cackled. The guy stormed off and make a remark in response to the cashier's terrible rebuttal and the cashier cackled again.
This Chipotle is terribly managed, never has enough staff even on low traffic days, and those who are there are poorly trained/lack sufficient customer service skills. This is the last time I'll visit...
Read moreThis used to be my go-to quick restaurant. I eat a keto diet, and I have always liked that the ingredients were fresh, the meats had good flavor, and I could get what I wanted to meet my dietary needs. But lately the meat has been really fatty and gross. My diet allows me to eat more fat, it I'm not about to eat a big clump of fatty meat grissel! And of course the employees aim for that big clump of fat in the pan when serving it up, like they're trying to unload it on you. This goes for all the locations I've been to (many, including in other states).
The last time I came into this location, I asked for a salad. The guy put maybe 10 - 15 small leaves of lettuce in the bowl. It barely covers the bottom of the bowl. In the past, this and other locations would put a big handful of lettuce in there. So I asked for more and explained that I wouldn't be getting much else since I was doing a keto bowl. So he put 2 more small leaves of lettuce in there. What?? I again I explained that I wouldn't be getting any rice or beans, so why such a small amount of lettuce? He said they were limited on portion size. So I asked for the meat and got the fat clump, and got cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce. The bowl wasn't even half full. I asked if I could have some of the shredded lettuce on top and he agreed to put some on. Still, the bowl was maybe 3/4 full, and mostly with a clump of meat fat that I wouldn't eat.
Needless to say, I went away hungry and will try my best to avoid Chipotle, and this location in particular, in the future. Don't even get me started on the lack of cleanliness. I guess I just assume it will be...
