We have been coming to this lot for pumpkins and Christmas trees for the past 4 years. We are the family that hangs their Christmas tree upside down and through the years we've shared our story with staff at this lot. Today we went again to buy our tree. We wanted a flocked one so we went in the tent and picked the one we wanted. We have four children and they were super excited for the tree we picked. The staff helped us cut the trunk to accommodate us hanging it upside down then bagged it for us and took us to the registers. At the register we were told that our tree was tagged incorrectly by staff and that the price was wrong. It was tagged for $105.99. It was 6-7ft labeled Douglas fir flocked white with glitter. The lady at the register told us that it was actually a Noble not a Douglas and the price would be much more than what the tag says. She said the staff made a mistake tagging it. We asked her to accommodate the tag price since it was not our mistake and because we took the time to shop for the tree that was in our budget that was flocked and the staff had already cut the trunk and bagged it for us. She said no! She said that isn't how this tree lot does things. She said that this is a corporation and there are rules she has to follow and it isn't allowed for her to change the price. We asked her to ask a manager. She did and the manager said the same thing. We told them that was a bad business choice and that we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on, now that we know this is a business who will not right their own wrong. At the last minute the lady at the register offered to give us 10% off the price it's SUPPOSED to have been tagged which was close to $140. That is far more than what our tree was tagged as. So, for $37 this tree lot chose to lose the business of a regular customer. That's a horrible choice on the part of this "corporation!" There are times when a business should step up and do the right thing and have integrity and admit when they were wrong and chose to keep a returning customer for years to come instead of acting as if our purchase isn't very important to them! We will be sharing our disappointment with this lot on social media as well because we want to make sure other people we care about know not to waste their time shopping at a place who truly doesn't care about doing the right thing! Such a bummer that it came to this. We are now on a hunt for a tree lot and pumpkin patch with integrity! I'd rather save up and pay DOUBLE at a place where people stand true to their own mistakes when they occur. Terrible business...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreworst work experience of my life most of the employees are chill I have no issue with them at all except one of the supervisors with a 8 year olds haircut sheās extremely rude, disrespectful, comes at me for no reason, sheās entitled, and a hypocrite if the employees were talking sheād get them in trouble but she can make conversation with her friends whenever she wants? thatās crazy and she canāt even say sheās helping customers cause customers themselves have said sheās no help. Nah but this one time she told me to clock out so I clocked out bc apparently no one gave me my break (someone did) and it was already time for me to get a break either way but I was authorized to go on my break so I went, after when she told me to leave I had to wait for the bus and I was using someoneās hotspot so I just decided to walk around the patch for a bit so i had internet to make a call while I waited and she was following me around the entire time I WAS JUST ON THE PHONE, MY PHONE im a minor bruh I didnāt need a grown woman following me around while Iām minding my business that was so uncomfortable and creepy like who are you?? very unprofessional on her part I had a right to be there I wasnāt causing any issues I was literally just on the phone walking around and she went to go get the manager after but I was already leaving they stopped me on my way out idk why she had to do all that, again, I was just waiting. patch itself is mehš¤·š½āāļø I wouldnāt recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat I thought was a pumpkin patch turned out to be an artificial setup filled with blow-up inflatables and anti climactic mechanical rides, missing the rustic warmth and wonder of a real pumpkin farm. Not a bush or tree or grass or dirt in sight. No hayride, something of a small train going in circles instead. They had a little petting zoo and the line was out the wazoo. Just a bunch of electricity being used to power this weird setup. When we could all be in nature instead. In a real patch, through a real corn maze, etc.
Paid over 60$ for all the rides for two adults and a child. We didnāt even eat there because it was so pricy so we went elsewhere for dinner. Oh and letās not forget itās like 4$ for them to play for 4 minutes on each thing.
Did my kid have fun because he doesnāt know better? Yes. Would i come back to this parking lot āfarmā? Absolutely not. Why people choose something like this over the real thing I...
