Dollar Tree — Local services in Redmond

UPDATE 9/21/23:

Have been advised all goods must be taken out of the hand basket and placed on belt. It takes special training to pick items out of the hand basket, I was told. Asked the manager outbof curiosity. They stated OSHA prohibits the checkout staff from picking up items out of tge basket as they could be heavy. However they pick these same items up and place them inside shopping bags, so they are already handling them. I honestly don't believe their answer, but whatever. It adds to the wait line and people are upset at this change. They gave their answer. OSHA will not allow them to pick up items more than 1 pound. Oh no. Terrible! But they still pick it up anyways.

Opened package of chocolate pecans was shown to me by clerk. I said no, I do not want them. They kept trying to charge me. No, decline. The attitude of sighing and exaggerated motions clearly indicated they were annoyed that I didn't want the open bag.

Tough? Don't try to sell damaged / compromised food items.

$1.25 is still a good deal for many items. Cleaning supplies LA's Totally Awesome cleaner at $1.25 does a better job of cleaning black streaks off RV's and trailers than the trailer wash cleaners...

I used to goto this place very often , but have an extremely weird experience today.

Salesman are highly racist in nature and misbehave the people who are Alien in USA.

I simply asked the biller, can I get freshly filled balloons, and that arrogant lady started shouting on me saying what do u expect at 1.25$ , she kept on shouting like a mad almost for 3-4 minutes a d kept on repeating same thing 1.25$ , 1.25$ as if she is doing a favor by selling items at 1.25$.

I requested her to hear me for a while, but that arrogant and psycho lady kept on raising her voice. I felt very bad and left all items and started going away from the shop, this was also not enough, that mental lady kept on shouting on me till the time I left.

I was not aware of the fact that Dollar tree is running a charity for poors by running their shop, they should be ashamed of employing such kind of third grade salesman in shop who spent more time in talking on mobile and misbehave the customer.

If any of the higher authority want to take action .. its March-22 nd - 2023 , time 7:10 pm and requesting the management to employ biller who knows how to behave...

This store is my favorite store, especially when I need to buy birthday decorations. But yesterday I had a horrible experience with the cashier (his name Alex). I bought lots of stuffs and 7 foil balloons for a birthday party. After he rang up all the stuffs, he left the balloons fly around. I asked him (very nicely) that if he could help me tie all the balloons together as I had to hold my toddler (who was crying and screaming at that moment) because I had only one hand to carry all the stuffs and the balloons. He looked at me, didn’t answer nor do anything. I asked him one more time, he angrily said “nah” with a look that I couldn’t forget the whole day. Wow, just wow. I really wanted to find the manager to talk about that but my toddler was tired so I decided to leave. Hopefully this review will bring it up to manager’s attention.
